This is how I feel every time I read something new about "Naruto: The Last BS" or some stupid new interview by incompetent Kish*tmoto.

 

 

Then I get mad because he totally butchered his story. What he did doesn't even make sense. WE aren't the stupid ones - HE is. Even if this interview is false, he's still the one who made NaruHina happen. But in my mind, it doesn't matter what he does, because NaruSaku is STILL canon to me. SOMEHOW he defied logic and his primitive brain created incredible characters, but he wasn't able to keep up with them in order to remain true to themselves. Naruto and Sakura WOULD have been together if he weren't so pathetic.

Am I the only one who thinks it's strange that we never saw anything EVER about Konaha being cold (I always assumed it was just somewhere warm and humid) but now it's all snowy? And even then, Ino goes for the midriff shirt... Almost as dumb as Hinata wearing that stupid coat all the time.

Peeta was a bumbling oaf who just wants really bad to helpful but just gets in the way and makes other people get hurt. He's lame and boring. Just... a one-dimensional character who is just extremely boring. He probably doesn't deserve how much I hate him, but most people love him so I don't feel too bad. I really dislike book Katniss because she hates everyone. There's even a line in book 3 where she says that she hates everyone. I hate how she doesn't care about anybody except for Gale, Peeta, and Prim, and she would just as quickly run away and live her miserable life alone and full of hate instead of trying to actively change the world with the power that she has and save all these people's lives. The thing that bothers me about that is that she really DOES care and hates to see people mistreated, except it doesn't matter to her unless they're right in front of her. That's what I like about Gale. He actually sees the big picture and cares about the cause because it'll save people. Peeta's annoying because literally the only thing he cares about is Katniss. The most selfless one is Gale because he cares about people he's never met!

 

I hate that Katniss is never instigating anything, instead either hiding in stupid closets and complaining about how she hates the world or she's just moodily going along with everything, whining and complaining the whole time and dragging her feet. I really just don't like her. Sure, your life sucks. Sure, you don't wanna be brave. Whatever. Don't be such a hater though. Characters can and should be flawed but she was just downright unpleasant to read about. I didn't even like the book because it was so miserable and dark and Katniss is just a pathetic character. Dean Winchester went to hell for what felt like 40 years, and he still smiles! Granted he's a miserable fellow, but at least he isn't miserable to watch! GET OVER YOURSELF.

 

Sorry. Ha. I just think that your protagonist, especially of a book like that, should be someone brave and inspiring who cares about people. That's why I like J Law Katniss better, because she cares and she isn't such a whiny brat. I haven't actually seen Mockingjay yet. I'm excited to see Finnick be more of a stud ;) But *SPOILER* I am NOT excited to see him randomly get his head ripped off by a bunch of random muttations. *SPOILER END* Like, that was ridiculous too. That made me livid. Finnick, Gale, and Haymitch are the best characters in my humble opinion. Oh yeah, and Cinna.

There's actually also a NaruSaku daughter named Hanami. She's a few years younger than Shinachiku.

Shinachiku is very protective of her and loves her a lot! The name Hanami comes from a Japanese word which basically means "the custom of flower viewing, particularly of cherry blossoms." So her name also relates to her mother's name, just like how Shinachiku's name relates to his father's name! Her appearance is the opposite of Shinachiku's, meaning she has her mother's hair and her father's eyes (pink hair and blue eyes). Some of Hanami's characteristics are that she says "Shayoo!" She loves her family and thinks that she has the coolest parents/brother in the world! She also loves her Kurama plushie and takes it with her everywhere. (note: Hanami isn't as accepted of headcanon as Shinachiku, because the name Shinachiku came from Kishimoto himself. Hanami is a complete creation from the minds of the fandom)

I know :') We need Shinachiku fanfics and fanarts! I have drawn some but I kinda suck, so.... Hahaha. Fanfics, however, is something I can do ;)

Just imagine, baby Shinachiku is so attached to his dad that every day Naruto goes to work, Shinachiku cries and cries. Eventually, Naruto started making shadow clones to play with his son so that he wouldn't be so upset while he was gone :)

Hey y'all! Well, I decided to make a thread for precious baby boy Shina-chan (I know you don't like being called that, but you're too cute *squeezes cheeks*)! If any of you don't know, in an interview years ago, Kishimoto was asked if Naruto would have any children, and Kishimoto said he might have a son, and that if he did he would most likely call him "Shinachiku." Shinachiku, like Naruto and Menma, is a ramen topping. It is a condiment made from dried bamboo strips and is synonymous with Menma. Well, since Naruto has ended, the NaruSaku fandom has never forgotten that comment, and so, we have adopted precious Shinachiku as our fandom's NaruSaku baby! If you go to tumblr, you'll find all sorts of things about him. Here is where we can talk about him, love him, cry about him, and create headcanons for him! I hope you love him as much as I do! Here are some headcanons, drawings, and gifs about him to get you all started <3 

 

The basics:

Shinachiku was born on May 30, when Sakura was 25 and Naruto was 24. He is a sweet boy with blonde hair like his dad and green eyes like his mom. He's full of energy and love, and is rambunctious and loves to pull pranks, like his father did when he was his age. In spite of that, he is actually quite sensitive. He adores both of his parents, as both of them take lots of time to spend with him. While he's quite similar to his father in personality, he's more like his mother when it comes to studying in school. He does really well in class, and as he gets older he discovers he has a passion for medical ninjutsu. He uses the catch phrases "Dattebaro!" and "Shannebayo!" interchangeably, both of them mixtures of his parent's phrases "Shannaro!" and "Dattebayo!"

Heacanons:

 

Naruto’s hokage cloak always end up getting dirty because Shinachiku loves to run around the house wearing it and pretending to be a cool Hokage like his dad. So Sakura makes a smaller cloak that look just like Naruto’s for him. He is so happy and every time they went to play at the playground he will wear that cloak and says “I AM YOUR HOKAGE! CALL ME HOKAGE-SAMA ‘ttebaro!” to the other kids.

Shinachiku begged Sakura for a puppy to take care of and when Sakura said no he ran to his father to help him convice Sakura. after Naruto and Shinachiku pleaded with Sakura and after they flashed their puppy eyes, Sakura finally gave in and let Shinachiku have a puppy.

"Shinachiku is a very cute and bright boy. He goes to Sakura’s medical office or Naruto’s hokage office right after school and tell them about the things he learned in class. They smile and ruffle his hair or kiss his head, and tell him how proud they are of him.

He sometimes sits down on Naruto/Sakura’s lap, or fiddles with things and asks a bunch of questions on just about anything, especially on stories when they were field shinobi. 

Shinachiku’s favorite so far is of a blond hyperactive knuckleheaded boy who made a promise of a lifetime to a brilliant and beautiful pink haired girl out of pure love. He really likes that one.

He also likes it when his parents look at the clock and give him a wink and get out of work early or take a break so they can go get the other spouse from their work ((Naruto likes to make funny faces with Shinachiku from the window of Sakura’s office until she notices them)) and spend time together as a family."

Can I just say that I can imagine Shikachiku and Naruto playing pirate in Shikachi’s room, on his bed acting like the ground was the sea and had monsters in it, him as the captain and Naruto as a crew member. “Hoist the sails, Shanabayo!” “Aye aye Cap’n ttebayo!”

And Sakura would be like. “Like father like son.”

4 year old Shinachiku see his parents’ wedding photos for the first time and bursts into tears because he wasn’t there to see the wedding..(lol) After numerous failed attempts to console him, Naruto & Sakura decide to re-enact the entire ceremony just for him, leading to both Naruto & Shinachiku tearing up when Sakura steps out in her old wedding dress…

I agree with you 100%, Tricksie!! Thank you so much! I was really upset over the ending, but banding together with other NaruSaku fans here, and on facebook and tumblr, have really helped me heal, and it's made me realize that even though Kishimoto may have killed NaruSaku in his story, doesn't mean that it's dead! He gave it so much life that it's living on beyond the life that he gave it originally, and it's up to us, the fandom, to realize the full potential of that amazing ship that he never canonized :) To me, fanfiction, fanarts, and the moments from the manga will live on as MY NaruSaku canon. Edit: blame him. Blame that freaking mofo until the end of time. He deserves nothing but utmost disrespect for not only ruining his characters but for being a sexist pig who only knows how to degrade women. I'm too lazy to edit the rest of this, but know that I know Kishi sucks.

Now before you get annoyed, I am NOT a crap-author apologist. I believe whole-heartedly that it is not an author's right to do whatever they want with their story and that even if they make something happen, that doesn't automatically make it realistic. Now that being said, please proceed to the rest of the post :)
 
I actually believe that Kishimoto was forced into this and that he wasn't happy about it. Because SasuSaku was the most popular pairing in Japan and some people got set on making a Naruto spin-off, they decided to make Kishimoto change it to SasuSaku so more of their fans would stay for the spin-off. I mean, we're living proof of that, right? Look at us. Most of us, myself included, are shunning the spin-off. We're not going to read it. So, if the most popular ship is SasuSaku and they make NaruSaku happen, then they just alienated the majority of their fans. Not good for money. Obvious solution? Make the more popular ship happen, and we've got a bigger audience for the spin-off.
 
Why do I think this? Because NaruSaku was the one with all the build-up. I believe that as recently as 663, where Sakura's love for Naruto and Karin's love for Sasuke (which love we know to be romantic) was paralleled, Kishimoto was planning on making NaruSaku canon. We have confirmation straight from Minato that NaruSaku is a parallel of MinaKushi. Can't get much blunter than that! What other proof do I have that Kishimoto wasn't happy about this?
 
For starters, he gave NaruHina/SasuSaku little to NO closure. SasuSaku had like a page or two, where he poked her forehead (romantiku~! If anything that points to more of a brother/sister relationship since the only other person who did that to him was his BIG BROTHER) and NaruHina had one panel. Then they were all married with babies. However, even after they were married, he gave us absolutely no interaction between the two couples. In addition, he never actually killed off NaruSaku, because Naruto didn't actually ever say to Sakura he was moving on, and she never actually rejected him. They just married different people (who didn't have any interaction). IF he were happy with this and planning on it, I think he would give us more. But to me, it almost seems like "I'm being forced to make these people end up together but I'm not happy about it, so I'm just going to not show any interaction between them. And I'm not going to officially kill off NaruSaku." 
 
Secondly, he didn't actually draw the epilogue. His assistants did. You'd think that if a mangaka loved their work that they would want to finish it himself, right?! That screams to me that he was forced into something he didn't want and instead of going along with it, stubbornly said, "Fine, you guys can crap on my story if you want, but I'M not going along with it." I know if I wrote something for fifteen years, I'D wanna finish it out. If people took it from me and ruined it, though, then maybe I wouldn't. In addition, there's his involvement in "The Last" movie, which will allegedly expand upon the NaruHina romance. Who knows how involved Kishimoto was in this movie. He created all the designs (and again made Sakura look more like Kushina), but he's not going to be animating it or who even knows how much he'll be involved in the storyline. I just know that up until this point, he hasn't been too involved in the creation of filler movies. It appears that he's just handed his manga over and is trying to wash his hands of the end.
 
Then there's the case of interesting little Salad Uchiha, who is an Uchiha with glasses, when neither one of her parents even HAVE glasses. I think that there are only three characters in the whole story who even wear glasses: Kabuto, Karin, and that weird girl who vibed Shikamaru. It seems supremely random that a child of Sakura and Sasuke, both of whom do NOT have glasses, would have a child with glasses, ESPECIALLY since most of the other children were obviously spitting images of their parents, attaining very conspicuous traits from them. SO WHY would he randomly change that and throw glasses on a SasuSaku kid, which makes even less sense genetically than Sai's kid having blonde hair? My theory (I don't care if it's conspiracy) is that Kishimoto already had in his mind, and probably on sketches, designs from NS and SK kids. He was planning on canonizing them. Then, when he was forced to make this stupid ending, instead of creating a new SasuSaku child, he sneakily threw in the design he already had for the SasuKarin child, either for himself or hoping that his fans would be able to pick up on it. I mean, look at them. (I tried to post the pictures but I caaaan't D:)
 
Her glasses are even red, like Karin's hair. I'm just saying, that's very STRANGE.
 
Now finally, let's move onto the SasuSaku and NaruHina families. They sure seem happy, right? With Sasuke leaving all the time and with Naruto always being gone at meetings so that he can't even spend time with his own son? Maybe Kishimoto's trying to tell us something with that, too. That they aren't happy because their families aren't what their families are supposed to be. Hm, hm, hmm... I don't know guys, I just know things are FISHY, to put it mildly. But I'm starting to think that maybe we shouldn't blame Kishi. Maybe it wasn't his fault. Maybe his editors and assistants forced him to change his manga so drastically that in the end, he couldn't even draw the last chapter himself. For me, Naruto ended in 698, because I think that's where Kis. You know how he said that he's known where Naruto was going to end since he began the story? Well I'm POSITIVE that's what he was talking about - the final battle with Naruto and Sasuke, with both of them losing their arms and Sasuke changing, etc. Not the shipping. 
 
In all actuality, I'm starting to feel sorry for Kishi, because he was made to botch his story and now everyone is calling him the worst storyteller ever, but in reality... it wasn't his fault.
 
All right, conspiracy theory over.

NaruSaku, to me, meant that love came from a deep-rooted, loyal, and devoted friendship. It was about putting someone before yourself, no matter what the cost. But more than anything...

 

To me, NaruSaku meant that love was about being happy, and having fun, and making each other smile. It is a fact that no one made Sakura smile more throughout the series than Naruto, and I swear that every time Naruto was with Sakura, he smiled. NaruSaku proved to me that love was more than just physicality. It was about happiness.

 

NaruSaku, you will always live on to me.

And actually, I think it would be absolutely incredible if the NaruSaku fandom banded together to create an official "unofficial" NaruSaku headcanon that we all know about and revere as truth. I mean, we as the NaruSaku fandom have people that we revere - all the mods at this site, LadyGT - and if any of you were to work together to create a product that we as a fandom agreed upon to be canon to us, that would be a pretty incredible feat. Of course, if we did that there would still be room for regular fanfiction, but there would be the one, NaruSaku fandom headcanon work and then everyone else's fanfiction. IDK if that's even possible, but I'm sure we could all work something out! ^^ And I agree 100% with what Tricksie said earlier. I think that NaruSaku was intended to happen from the beginning, but because of unforeseen changes in the future of Naruto (AKA next gen), he changed it last minute to pair everyone off in order to continue his story. 

 

So in reality, NaruSaku was ACTUALLY supposed to happen. They really were made for each other, but cruel fate ripped them apart :'(

Yeah, it was WAY too rushed. Ever since they randomly sealed Kaguya away and that was just over, and then the stupid Naruto/Sasuke fight of a lifetime was wrapped up in just a few chapters, we all should've known something weird was up. And now, this rush crap ending is just too much. Like you said, nothing adds up. I think that at LEAST at the point where Minato compares Sakura to Kushina, he was planning on NaruSaku. I honestly think he changed it last minute because he had to rush everything because of pressure from his editors, and that same pressure made him pull NaruHina out of nowhere and marry everyone off.

Interesting thoughts. I kinda agree with you there. I mean, it just makes absolutely NO sense. None, whatsoever. And, sure, Kishimoto wasn't fantastic, but he was better than this (so I thought). I've gotten the feeling for a while that he's just been wanting to end it, and at this point he doesn't seem like he really cares about how he ends it. I just can't believe how NaruHina happened, because it DIDN'T. It happened pretty much off panel, which is just ridiculous. Now that stupid romance movie is going to tell their love story, but dude, if you're gonna make a love story put it in the freaking story. I definitely feel like this was a spur of the moment thing and that he wasn't planning on NaruHina for most the time he was writing this manga. This is just ridiculous. 

NaruSaku is canon to me! Always will be! Honestly, Lady GT's artwork will always seem more legitimate than anything Kishimoto might publish that is NaruHina. They just don't mesh together. Naruto and Sakura together just seems so right, like they were always meant to be. NaruHina just looks wrong, NOT right. Like he's cheating on his actual wife. Even if NaruHina does happen, I won't accept it as fact. NaruSaku will always be #1 to me <3
