#497683 Naruto 649

i think the fact that Kishi showed the characters (rookies) I actually care about made this chapter more likeable than the few ones before it. just like in the rtn movie, i liked it better because its about the characters i "know" not another filler character.

anyhow is it just me or Sakura looks younger on this chapter??

she's been disheveled all this time in the war (although she should be since THIS is a WAR), its refreshing to see her like this. All the more i support NaruSaku for Naruto brings out those smiles from Sakura. *remembers that cover "i want to protect that smiling face" aww*

The TsunadexSakura reunion was okay, brief but meaningful. and Sakura looked so adorable like a lil child being praised by her mama with that face..

my wild imagination tells me that forehead touch and those bangs are gonna bring me closer to that NS forehead kiss ohohoho.. :fan: do it Kishi. DO IT.

I'm glad Shikamaru is well now, he is one of my faves and i adore him and Naruto's bond (actually more than with Naruto's bond with Sasuke nowadays). It was so nice to see Shikamaru's comparison of the Hokage brothers and him with Naruto.

I wonder what is with that "finally..!?" at the end?

Now it seems that Obito failed taking Nardo's Kakashi-sensei... and now he failed taking Nardo's best bud Shikamaru.. he wouldn't go for the love interest right?.. hope he won't though.. he'll get pummeled! :chuckle: :sakura:

#493848 Why I'm sure Naruto WILL confess to Sakura some day

I am an advocate of this too..

Naruto will definitely in one way or another confess his feelings for Sakura.

But more importantly, I think the purpose of Sai's flashback and him spilling the beans to Sakura is for us to feel the need to have the man itself to confess to the girl.

It wasn't Sai's words nor was it his own feelings so how did Sakura feel after that? ashamed. depressed. etc.

did she even feel happiness about having someone loving her to this extreme?

No right? why?? because it didn't came from the person itself.

That is why I also believe that next time it will be Naruto HIMSELF to say those words and ease Sakura's heart and mind. It has to be NARUTO, not Sai, not Shikamaru not Sasuke.

to hear the words "I love you" as something as a selfless gift and NOT a burden, having no pressure put upon you.. only the person involve can do that.

I believe that the purpose of a confession from Naruto is to wrap up all the developments the two made.

To clarify the things they have been dealing with throughout, to ease out the creases.. the feeling of not being enough, of not being worthy of the other..

Naruto's words is proven to be powerful enough to move anyone and make them believe in him.

Like its therapeutic.

If he finally confesses his feelings, I am sure it will erase Sakura's doubts about herself and she'll be more confident to relay again her feelings for him. this time with pure confidence and no other person to hold her or him back.

Because Naruto himself can prove that his feelings for Sakura weren't something like a curse (yes Sai, i still think you are adorable).. but something like strength. I know this might sound cheesy (bec. IT IS) however Kishimoto seems to have a penchant of springing back things from the past to be used in the present.

*insert Haku's line* one of the most impactful words to Naruto. She was never a burden to Naruto, she is one of his strength and so is he to Sakura. If Sakura dropped all her insecurities she has with herself regarding not doing enough for Naruto, then I'm sure that boy won't have to question her feelings this time.

#490311 Obito Uchiha: general opinion

First of all, I'd like to address the Anti-Tobito theorists. Ok, seriously. Did anyone not see it coming from a mile away? I have to facepalm everytime I saw someone saying if Kishi proved the Tobito theory true, the manga would suck and it's bad storytelling and an asspull yadda, yadda. Seriously? To be honest, I saw the Tobito thing as one of the best things that happened in the manga. Why? because it directly triggered a certain underdeveloped character's development. Fans had been begging for it, and now they don't want it? Hypocrites.

when I saw his sharingan i already see him as Obito. never paid attention to those theories about Tobi's real identity..

i always thought it was plain obvious, and my instinct would tell my everything else is trying to mislead me from pointing to that simple answer. Likewise, the idea of Tobi being Obito is great.  If people actually pays attention to Kishimoto's way of doing things and stop overanalyzing and forcing the story towards their personal preference and making the manga something that its not, then it wouldn't be that hard to figure out or accept.

There is only one word that always comes to my mind when it comes to Obito.

Sad.

that's it. he was really a good boy.. when i read Kakashi Gaiden, i totally fell for his character.

It was him who changed Kakashi to the one i greatly admire today.

He was like a celebrity to a team 7 fan like me, thoughts like: "so those cool words/teachings of Kakashi came from HIM"

then it happened.

turns out he is not that strong of a person.

and the hero of this story is the one to show him what he should've done instead.

still he was just a sad thing in my eyes now. I don't hate him now, nor do i find his motivations silly. even the RinRinRin part

i just find it all as sad.
