I said this before and I'll say it again. I feel really bad for NS fans in Japan....I mean we atleast got Kataang which is Nickolodeon's NS which was better written and better animated series altogether

Right. Of course The Last is going to outsell RtN. Even the title was meant to generate nostalgia and drive people to the theatres, when in reality IT WASN'T THE LAST NARUTO MOVIE!!!
 
But RtN is equally popular based on it's own momentum, and the money of genuine fans who came to see it because they liked Naruto. Not because of the hype around the movie. 
 
If you compare the two movies, side by side, based on the amount of money spent marketing it vs. the amount of money that it brought it, then RtN comes out far and away on top.

They keep trying to shove NH down our throats like its a large part of the story, like Hinata has been a part of team 7 since the beginning....
and yet they feel the need to try and trick NS fans into seeing the movie by advertising Naruto holding hands with "a secret person" a couple days before the movie's premiere...

We have been getting nothing but NS hints up until after the pain arc (which is when Sakura suddenly started falling for Sasuke again for some reason). We got chapter 540 which pretty much told us that in Sakura's mind Sasuke>Naruto in terms of her love life...

and yet there was Road to Ninja which not only supported NS but flat out made fun of SS and NH....some people think it was just a few months ago (given the SK child and the fact that he forgot to give Burrito a byakugan...) Some are saying a long time ago (because of NS drifting apart while Naruto had minor platonic moments with Hinata)

The more faith people have in NS the more powerful the fandom will grow and the more damage Sp will suffer because of it, this includes both people having hope and people getting dissapointed and pissed off some more

 

It will still air in Japanese tv. I don't know the term of it, when a movie get release in theater after a year or more it would air on tv.

There will be no canon conflict since Rtn is not canon.
The mislead parallel happen in manga, the original source. The last is canon but it has conflict with the manga.

 

Clearly your not understanding the point...it not being canon doesn't change the fact that Kishi made it and it has a large BO because Kishi made it....the messages in the movie were by him....the moments in the movie were by him

Did he sellout? Yes ofcourse but why wait until now?? This literally has been 15 years of him telling us why SS shouldn't happen and why Nh doesn't exist except in Hinata's head and now it feels like some obsessed NH fan killed Kishi stole his body and started writing a bunch of NH and ANS fanfiction Does nobody else think that the personal reasons he changed the ending for are that an NH fan is threatening him or his family in some way and he's too scared to go to the police? Because there's no explanation no matter how you cut it.

 

 
That's assuming they don't pissed off a lot of NH and SS shippers with the NS copy and paste to their fandoms next year in the fillers. If the Last Flops in the west, then they will have to bury the franchise.

I don't get it so....why did Naruto try to win Sakura over exactly? To compete with Sasuke? Why not any of the other hundreds of fangirls? Even with this own retconing logic proves that Naruto fell for Sakura in atleast some kind of way

I believe it was because when she was first introduced it was established she overindulged herself with Dangos now in peace times there are no more missions for her to go on to keep in shape which is why she's now a hippo

 

Kishi doesn't care about any of his characters male or female and the people at SJ and SP neither they just want to milk the Naruto franchise as much as they can and get as much as money as possible.

I think Naruto will be doing fine financially in the next years, the last has already been profitable and if you take into account that it will soon be aired in America and other various parts of the world where NH is extremely popular there's a lot of money to make. The people who made this decision arent stupid they are businessmen and know there's a huge market for their products outside of Japan on top of their local market , cheap fanservice will keep the Naruto franchise going on for some time. Of course the original story as it was has been destroyed and Kishi's credibility and integrity as a writer has been damaged but as long as the money flows they just don't care thats why I just don't believe Kishi was forced he most likely agreed as long as his bank account gets bigger. Naruto has long ceased to be simply a manga, it is now first and foremost a lucrative business and fanservice sells.

The good thing is that they are so many better fictions than Naruto out there and now that Naruto's manga credibility has been definitively lost we won't be blinded by it and can look for other more enjoyable works which conveys far better messages, ideals and values than Naruto ever did.

 

I'd imagine they'd still need a fanbase in Japan to remain stable otherwise Bleach wouldn't have suddenly been cancelled
