I've been really bad in past years about keeping up with my writing. Especially after having a kid. I decided that this year I wanted to actually make (and keep) some New Year's Resolutions dealing with writing. Here are mine:

Complete my FFVII fan fic, "Who's John ShinRa?" I think I started this in 2002?

Write a Narusaku lemon fic, because I've never done one with this pairing.

Write a non-romance fic since all I tend to write now-a-days is romance/drama.

What are some of your resolutions for the year?

My resolution this year, is to finally DO something. Like write a fan-fic, or make an AMV (I have NEVER made an AMV or written a fan-fic before, so this'll be interesting...) Plus, stop mentioning donuts in my posts (Gaah! I just did it now!)

I don't think making strict goals helps much, so mine's simply to write more. Which shouldn't be hard, seeing as I only wrote one story at all last year. Stupid lack of confidence.

3. To tease my friend Anthon a little less. It's going to be hard because he makes it really, really easy, so it's hard to resist sometimes.

I must agree, I have been so awful at writing stories and publishing them lately. I must get at least three chapters or one shots up this year. That is my 2010 Fanfic resolution! And I will continue my usual goal to try and write about the small things.

IRL. I wanna walk home from school everyday regardless of <crappy> weather. I need the exercise! I started today... short term, I wanna pass all my finals!!

My writing resolution is to finally write a fanfic. I've read fanfics for years and every time i see one that sucks i think i could do better but i've never gotten around to writing one yet...

I've got a whole bunch of resolutions like study harder, spend more time with friends, find a job, and stuff like that. But for writing, I think I'm going to aim to finish one of my current multichapter stories. I have one that is only a few chapters away from completion, but I've hit a writer's block for that particular story. XD Another resolution would probably be to stave off all plot bunnies until I get one story done.

I'm horrible with anything related to setting goals though, so the chances of the above actually happening? 4.6348%.

Hm, writing resolutions...

Well, first thing is first, I need to pick up a few books before I try to get into writing too much. Novels like The Stranger and Frankenstein need to be reread, and then I'll have to read Dracula and 1984 all the way through. Maybe then, after I've picked up some amazing books, my muse will return to me and I can finally finish Porcelain Cracks (holy crap almost three years since I last updated it!!), maybe finish a KakaSaku project along the way, and officially start research and character designs and backgrounds for a novel I've been planning to plan for the past two or three years.

It's been so long since I've last completed a project. I'm so ashamed of myself.

Personally, I plan on just writing a lot more. Especially challenge writings, like trying to write from different perspectives & such. I also want to try & start writing stories. I mainly write poems/lyrics but I think I want to try & expand my field of writing. Heck, I may even try to write a screenplay one day. But those are my goals.
