For example:
Its a great day today! I cant wait for the show.
You may see it like:
Its a great day today! I cant wait for the show.
I dont know if this is the right place to request help but please do what you can to make it function correctly. Thank you.

This has to be in the Technical forums which we do have but I move it later.
Anyways, have you tried it in another browser? Did the browser app you use updated recently? Because from what you posted:
For example:
Its a great day today! I cant wait for the show.
You may see it like:
Its a great day today! I cant wait for the show.
I'm seeing the same thing on both sentences on my end.

Same. I didn't get what he was trying to say. Maybe it seems that way when he is on mobile but in the actual forum it shows without problems.

When I opened the thread, I used it on mobile. Right now, I'm using my PC so to correct myself:
For example with PC:
It's a great day today! I can't wait for the show. We're going to have a blast!
When typing on mobile, it goes well until you submit/post it. Then it becomes like this:
Its a great day today! I cant wait for the show. Were going to have a blast!
Basically on my mobile device, using Safari, it types perfectly fine. It's when I press post that it deletes hyphens and quotes.

I’ve been having this problem as well. I find that copying a dash from another site while still using safari, then pasting it on here suffices the issue for now. Though it’s silly and a little annoying to do so lol
So I’m guessing that this platform doesn’t recognize special symbols directly from mobile, but accepts the same symbols if it’s from an actual computer or a webpage.
It’s the same thing with emojis too. I can’t directly type emojis from the keyboard (provided by Apple/iPhone) on here, but if I copy and paste it from a computer webpage that lists and provides emojis, it’ll work.

So I'm assuming something is going on when you guys using Safari when posting from a iphone/ipad/android then?

That's the case with me. In PC, it's all normal. Mobile, it has a weird glitch/filter.

yeah, same with me. I have to switch to my laptop to type the sentence over when I see the commas and apostrophes disappearing. Or I use FireFox on my phone.

Mostly likely. Maybe IPB isn’t too compatible with mobile, or visa versa? (I don’t think the mods here, for this site, can do anything about it... I think it’s something the developers of IPB need to either fix or update.)
Could be. Let me see if Smiter can see into it.
