Orochimaru was the older shin teacher. I was right clones. Oh wait he's an old experiment.
Naruto uses sage mode but can't find Sakura. Why they are going to orochimaru is he's the one that gave danzo his right arm so maybe he knows something about this. and they bring the brats along.
Chou tries breaking up the tension by giving Sasuke chips.
Sakura and shin have a discussion about "children" and being a parent.
Tenzo is old. They basically just walk into the base and immediately get caught. The reason Orochimaru looks so young is he stole another body and Naruto is ok with that. Chou can't tell if he's male or female.
So they younger shins are made from Danzo arm.
Suigetsu think Sasuke is a scumbag after hearing Salad story. Karin is Salad's mother. Karin is alive. Salad has a memory of Sakura saying that Salad and Sasuke are connected.
Naruto did not know Salad was SK not SS or he didn't know how to tell Salad that karin her mother I'm thinking the former but the latter is also possible. He tries to talk to Salad but she remembers him saying she was similar to Sakura and lashes out.

Not a good chapter for Naruto.
Salad has been looking for answers in regards to her parents and no one close to the situation has been honest with her. Suigetsu decides that he would offer a little help in her search and Naruto calls him a dumbass for it? Are you serious? God forbid someone actually give a young girl some clear answers.
There's no way that you could've known Naruto? Maybe if you would step away from your laptop and ramen in your office and spend time with your precious "friends", maybe you wouldn't look like a moron. I'm sure that Sakura would've loved to share some of her troubles with someone that she trusts and considers a friend. Then again, it's hard to imagine that that trust and friendship is still there at this point.
And then he just stutters like a pathetic idiot before getting drilled by Salad. Where's the empathetic ninja that could relate and communicate with others? Oh wait, he got kicked to the curb like every other likeable character that is still alive in this series.
Thank god Jiraiya died before he could be butchered.
I will not let you stand alone anymore...

I'm really hoping that next chapter, Sarada goes off on both Naruto and Sasuke. Hopefully Sarada shows exactly what's been wrong with this gaiden, haha.
