It started with a meeting between a rookie manga artist and young editor, Naruto: The Beginning! The manga we love and know has reached it’s finale, but the insight and knowledge from the key people behind it continues. In the latest instance, Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto and founding editor Kosuke Yahagi come together to discuss the the journey of the Naruto series from serialization to worldwide phenomenon! Take a look at the fifteen question interview, originally posted in Jump SQ magazine and recently in the American version of Jump. When reading, please keep in mind it was conducted BEFORE Naruto’s official conclusion on November 10, 2014.

So that would explain why the Pain arc was the last good arc, it was the one straight after Sasuke awokened his MS...so it's likely Yahagi-San worked with Kishi with the story up until that point.

So new Editor is to blame for the downward spiral of the Manga.

It felt like Kishi needed that first one to be this successful because it felt like the editor knew what he can do with his concept. Then, downhill happens. It's like in wrestling, if you get a new booker, you can tell a difference. One booker knows how to hide the cons and exploit the pros greatly; the other can make illogical sense into the mix like having the victim turning heel because it's a shocking twist. True story.

I agree. I honestly can't help but think now how things could've been slightly betterl if he had stayed on till the end. Considering the downwards spiral of quality the manga has been, one wonders if all Kishi got in the end were noob editors. Seriously, you don't assign a noob to handle the #1 world famous manga. You don't.

On another note, I gotta wonder how he'd have handled the ships. Would he have leaned towards NH or NS? My guess is the former. And I think if he did, he would've given Hinata more moments to make the end pairing more believable.

Oh, one more thing. He's the editor-in-chief at the magazine the Mario one-shot was published, right? If that's so, then I hope Yahagi can pull him there. He's the one who personally supervised Mario as well. Although the editor-in-chief doesn't personally handle the mangakas, I'd hope that he'll have a hands-on approach to Mario.

WSJ: "Yahagi-san, do you have any words of encouragement for Kishimoto-sensei has he works on the conclusion to the series?"
Yahagi: -Turns to Kishimoto, places a hand on his shoulder.- "Don't kittening blow it."

If he become a villain, he will dead.
But since never portray him as a villain so he will get forgiven at the end of manga.

Meh Sasuke was a villain to me. So was Obito and Madara. Once you start killing people, and come up with an idea where you set yourself up as a fascist dictator , or simply take their free will from them, your a bad guy.  At least in my book. Sasuke not dying is a big problem. Him not being even punished is much worse.

I don't know how a character who's sole focus was killing the main character
wanting to destroy Konoha
trying to kill the heroine
trying to kill main character's teacher
threatening to kill the Kages and trying to steal the MC's Hokage dream CANNOT become a villain... >.>

Like we said he does. He'd of been executed at a Nuremberg stye court for crimes against humanity if this world was anything like reality. Because Sasuke threw a hissy fit and helped strength the bag guys hand people lost there lives, and he tried to create a coup twice against the governments of the world. It has nothing to do with "power level". He's a terrorist and a criminal who's only defense is that he was born in an unfair world.

He'd be hanging from the gallows if this world had any idea of justice to it.

And I forgot Sasuke was in Akatsuki hunting down tailed beast hosts like Killer Bee (and Naruto).
Yet he STILL wasn't considered a villain (according to Kishimoto) Hahahaha.

He's not a good writer. I've been making this point since the end of the Pain Arc over at NF. :lmao
