Just a thread to talk about the new Smash bros coming out, post links to reviews,videos,trailers etc...Talk about old Smash bros too if you want to, and try to review your favourite character,new or old.

My favourite old character would have to be either Fox or Falco,can't really review them.

My favourite new character would have to be Little Mac.He does some of the fastest,most powerful attacks in the game (he also has a.really good long ranged attack as well,unfortunately his saving moves are really bad, and he can only save from directly below a ledge,not from its side.It would be best to use him in an arena like the boxing ring,where it's more about fighting than fighting and saving.Bad choice for an aerial battle.If your aim is to get the highest percentage (on your opponent) quickly, he's the man to go to.

Also post ideas for new smash bros games,personally I wish that you would chose the arena before you choose the character.

Well the new Smash bros already came out, so I guess you're talking about the WiiU version.

This is the first Smash bros game I ever played so I guess I can't talk about the old games.

My favourite characters has to be Ness, Zero suit Samus, Sonic, Toon Link, and the Villager.

For new Smash bros games...I kinda wish the screen KOs were faster. I hate when my opponent and me are KOed at the same time and they get the screen KO thus making their animation longer, meaning they'll win.

At least the star KOs were fixed to not happen at the end of a timed match.

I'm talking about the Wii U version, and what do you mean by friend code?Ness is one of my favourites as well,but I like Link more than Toon Link.As for the villager he is absurdly strong,it's awesome.I prefer speed though eg.Fox,Falco and Little Mac.When your opponent gets a screen KO and wins it's sooo annoying.

Oh. Well It started with Brawl. You have a specific number and if you give it t someone else you become friends with them. Then play against them in online matches

I remember Super Smash Brothers 64. Such good good memories... Especially the tornado thing at Hyrule Castle stage. XD I miss Nobuyuki Hiyama's voice as Link.

All 64 games bring back memories and cause reminiscing... I used to play this Batman on Game Cube and I can't remember what it was called, but it was way ahead of it's time, it was almost as advanced as Arkham Origins

So for those who don't know, a couple of months ago a reddit user discovered some sound files of Ryu and Roy (no, not Roy Koopa, the other Roy ) that came with the 1.0.6 patch, hinting that these two characters would be available as DLC. These files were also accompanied by a Ryu victory theme and the Fire Emblem victory theme.

 

Now, literally just a few ago, two different users on YouTube posted videos of their endings, so they've pretty much been confirmed as real DLC.

 

So yes, we'll be getting Ryu. And yes, Roy (our real boy!) is back!

 

I know leaks are bad and I should feel bad for posting them  but here are the videos if you haven't seen them yet and you want to indulge yourself.

 

 

 

 Images of Ryu and Roy's movesets, renders, palettes and trophies have also been revealed. Also included are some Lucas stuff, new trophies (SQUID KIDS!!!! I mean Inklings) and music. The website's in French, but click the Smash icon to teleport there!

 

 

 

 

On another note, please secure your wrist strap to safely contain Lucas hype.
