As you may know, I'm a movie buff. I've seen a lot of movies and some of them were like live action versions of NaruSaku. I will give you my list, so you guys can tell me yours. There was a thread about this but its closed.

 

1. Titanic (Obviously)

2. Romeo and Juliet (Any version)

3. Harry Potter (Harry and Ginny & Ron and Hermione are similar to NaruSaku)

4. Avatar

5. Spiderman movies

6. Iron man movies

7. Hulk (2003) and The Incredible Hulk (2008)

8. Countless Bollywood movies (I grew up watching them) Because the main heroes in most movies are goofballs like Naruto and the main females has hot tempers, strong and good hearted like Sakura, also the villains are like Sasuke because of the way he treats Sakura. Another thing is that the main female in some movies falls in love with the hero but her parents tell her that the hero is no good, nuisance etc and they force her to marry the villain because he is "cool" and stuff and the hero saves the day and gets the girl he loves. Also in some movies the female didn't realise the love of the hero until an incident or in the end. Plus when the hero looks at the main female for the first time it's love at first sight. (Kishimoto hasn't revealed how Naruto and Sakura met for the first time but I hope he will).

 

So these are my movies that remind me of NaruSaku. Feel free to tell me yours.

Another thing-How is Harry-Ginny similar to NaruSaku? Ginny liked Harry from the very beginning and Harry fell for her in the end. Its more like NH.

Just gonna discuss the ones I highlighted. First off, Harry Potter! I don't see Harry Potter as similar to NaruSaku. Ginny was a random side character that randomly got the protagonist, while the two main sidekicks got each other. If anything, that's more similar to SasuSaku and NaruHina - protagonist getting an unimportant side character (Hinata) while his two sidekicks (Sasuke and Sakura) end up together. Personality-wise, Ron and Hermione is kinda like NaruSaku because Ron is stupid and Hermione's smart, but Ron is also all around incompetent whereas Naruto clearly is not.. Harry is kinda bland without near as much personality as Naruto, and Ginny has practically no personality. Or maybe she does in the book, and I just can't remember because in the movie she's just as blank as a notebook sheet. BUT, onto the good news! While this did happen, JK Rowling said that she realizes now that it was a mistake and Harry and Hermione should have been together, because as far as characters and character roles are concerned, the protagonist should not end up with a tiny side character. Heheheh.

 

As for Avatar, I think that's a great example. It's a lot like NaruSaku. The two main characters falling in love, with the girl taking a long time to admit to it while the guy likes her the whole time. Except, funny story, I despised Kataang. Haha. So, as far as character roles are concerned, GOOD! As far as relationship development, BAD. NaruSaku is FAR superior than Kataang when it comes to relationship development.

The reason why Harry and Ginny is similar to NaruSaku to me is that Ginny wasn't a shy girl, she sometimes acts like Sakura except she is not hot tempered. Plus she didn't have an obsession of Harry like Hinata's obsession of Naruto. Ginny always supported Harry like Sakura did to Naruto. She is a mature girl like Hermione and Sakura. Also when Ginny never had feelings for Harry until he rescued her in Chamber of Secrets and their feelings for each other never grew stronger until Half- Blood Prince. Plus Harry can be like an idiot sometimes like Naruto. It's my point of view. I didn't say Harry and Ginny is like NaruSaku I said both Harry and Ginny & Ron and Hermione are similar to NaruSaku to me. I may be wrong.

Heh, no kidding. She ended up making those pairings just for the sake of everyone being paired up to give a happy ending. It would be the same if NH/SS become canon. Harry-Ginny felt awkward and like an asspull.

I pray Kishimoto won't do this and make SS&NH canon, just for the sake of making everyone paired at the end.

Guy likes girl but girl finds the guy annoying. Girl eventually comes around to appreciate, makes sacrifices and have feelings for the guy. I've seen this kind of thing in fiction dozens of times.

Naruto is what happen when Ron take Harry lead and title character role.
Sasuke is what happen when Harry and malfoy merge into one and taking hermione role and has the same important with the lead character.
Sakura is hermione (still retain her intelligent) put in Ron place.

This is how I see, naruto & Harry potter comparison.
I can understand the Ronxhermione comparison with NS, because Ron is a class clown and hermione is the smart girl.
But I disagree with Harryxginnie comparison.

I think we should compare the Harry, cho Chang, and cho Chang boyfriend with team seven love dynamic.

Yeah, except Ron has no skills other than being a really loyal sidekick Naruto is WAY better than Ron! Ron's so emotional, too (in a bad way) like in book four when he threw that hissy fit or in book seven when he walked out on them for a bit. Naruto gets emotional, but when HE does, it's precious, because it's emotion that's generally positive towards people he cares about. I just love Naruto <3

Yup. And that's why Rowling realized her mistake and apologized to the fans. But, I don't think Kishi will do that. Harry and Hermione never had any romantic undertones in their relationship. They had a strong friendship, but never anything more. They should have been together because of their roles in the story, but tis life. However, NaruSaku has both the character roles/friendship and the romantic undertones. We got this in the bag

Ok NOW i agree with you. When I was a kid, I watched Naruto and Harry Potter and thought Harry-Ginny and Ron-Hermione are similar to NaruSaku. Now I've been reading your opinions I just realised that Ron-Hermione IS NaruSaku. Sorry because I didn't realised that until now. Silly me.

Maybe the theme is common but no two stories will be exactly similar in the romance plot development. Each will be unique. And out of many, I really love the way NS has been developed step by step by Kishi. Its been done beautifully and its one of the best because it seems so natural-almost like a love story in reality.

Of course the stories may be different, but I've seen the same elements copied and pasted in fiction hundreds of times. In my opinion, the development of NS isn't all that special. It's nice and cute, though.
