Some of you guys may not know who I am. I'm a long-time forum member, who still hangs around, contributing on certain topics from time to time. Though for the most part, I've moved on from Naruto. Still hope that Naruto and Sakura end up together, but I feel the plot is mostly nonsense. Anyway...

What you may not know - I am a writer. Or rather trying to be. I've finally gotten to a point where I feel comfortable pursuing my story, "Butterflies and Hurricanes." It is to the point where I think you guys might like it.

If you're interested in checking it out. Follow my twitter: https://twitter.com/Butterfly_Hurri

And check out the actual Kickstarter page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1870825570/butterflies-and-hurricanes

Every bit helps. If you have any questions. Please ask here or somewhere on the two links above.

For those not following the events of Butterflies and Hurricanes on Kickstarter, Twitter, or WordPress, here is what you're missing so far:

Solis - The Nation

Solis. It covers approximately 60% of an island continent isolated from the rest of the world. No one born within the nation's borders know what lies beyond. The stories are clear - leave and you die. Somehow, someway, those who were born within the borders are forever tethered to the capital.

Sure, kings and queens have tried their best to correct that - dreams of power, glory, freedom. But they all end the same. The tether gets smaller. People die. The artifact purges to maintain stability. It's the price that the kingdom has to pay for their incredible abilities.

These abilities that have allowed kings and queens to construct timeless relics, create awe-inspiring cities, command legions of individuals. They are the blessings of the world itself; they are the reason why those within Solis are the greatest individuals to have ever lived.

Those with abilities are considered important. In exchange for service to the crown, they are allowed to have permanent residency within the capital - an honor that only the highest echelon of individuals can claim to have. Everyone else is required to have the income needed to pass monthly revenue checks.

But even those who aren't born with abilities or who can't pass the monthly revenue checks are still considered important. They are allowed to live outside of the capital in well-furbished cities that make up the industrial and agricultural centers of the nation.

Solis is a nation of fairness. Queen Shaw wouldn't allow any evil to befall her people. And that's why we love and respect her guidance.

Sun watch over us.
