I just thought of this challenge. After Naruto 662, what will happen if he wakes up? How will he react to Sakura's shocked expression? What are Sakura's thoughts on the whole situation? It's a bit fun speculating. I guess that's what fanfiction is all about. Fans speculating what characters will do in certain situations. Good luck.

His heart stopped. Is that possible?

Did it stop? I was pretty sure it didn't. Hinata said it was getting weaker/slower, but that's all we heard about his heart. :huh:

The last page says "The heartbeat stops, their will burns out"

 

Aren't those written by editors? Correct me if I'm wrong. It would be kind of anti-climatic if they told us what happens in the next chapter, i.e: Naruto's heart stops.

Plus it would kind of make the last page kind of pointless since Sakura and Karin said, "At this rate/point, Naruto/Sasuke will really die." Meaning they haven't died yet, but they're on the edge of death.

 

Of course I could be wrong. I mean, hearts can stop for a while and the person can still survive it. Or maybe Naruto will have one of those rare events where you die for a while but come back to life.

I guess we'll find out for certain when 663 comes out. :sweat:

 

But uh...I guess I should say something about the topic.

 

In all honestly, I don't think Naruto will wake up while Sakura is healing. He probably won't wake up for a little while. As for if he did wake up, I'm not sure how to explain how he would react. Just probably weakly say her name and Sakura would be relieved to see he's okay. With something like this, though, I don't think him waking up would mean they're out of the fire yet.

Sometimes the sidetext in the end is an editor's note, and sometimes not. So I'm not sure. Saying it actually strengthens the cliffhanger, makes it even more exciting. Like, they let us know how serious it is.

 

And you'll last under a minute without a beating heart, either way I don't think you could wake up in that condition.

I decided to try my hand at this challenge, the link to the one-shot in in the Great NaruSaku Fic Listing III for anyone who may be interested. I probably didn't follow the challenge to the letter, but hopefully it turned out alright.

His heart before 663 didn't stop. It's beating very weakly. In 663, Sakura said " No sound. No pulse " which means it stopped. So, Sakura made his heart beat weakly again by her actions, but his heart will still be that way and able to beat by doing this or Naruto will probably die. Still, the heart can stop if it can't handle anymore.
