So, why don't we take a step back to our childhoods and share our favorite songs from Disney? (recent ones like Frozen can count too)

 

My favorite is, and always will be Phil Collins' "You'll be in my heart." Even now, I still believe it can't be topped by anything else Disney produces in the future. I think Phil really set a ridiculously high bar with it. The lyrics, the power, everything about the song is absolutely perfect.

- " Son Of Man " by Phil Collins from Tarzan:

 

This song is so great with its lyrics, music, beat and rhythm. It always motivates me more.

 

- " A Star Is Born " and " One Last Hope " by David Zippel from Hercules:

 

I like the music of " A Star Is Born " and it reminds me of my childhood. " One Last Hope ", the lyrics are so funny XD... Phil is my favorite character in this movie.

"Belle Notte" from Lady and the Tramp, such a sweet song.

 

"He's a Tramp" also from Lady and the Tramp, sung by Peggy Lee, this was the first time a big name artist sung a song from a animated film.

 

"Cruella De Vil" from 101 Dalmatians, one of the best villain songs in my opinion.

 

"The Bare Necessities" from The Jungle Book, In my opinion some of Disney's best songs were song by Phil Harris, and this one is probably the best of them.

 

"I Wanna Be Like You" from The Jungle Book, sung be Louis Prima and Phil Harris, even with what I just said about The Bare Necessities, I have a hard time choosing which of these songs is my favorite song of the movie.

 

"Thomas O'Malley Cat" from The Aristocats, sung by Phil Harris, I told you I think Phil Harris did some of Disney's Best Songs.

 

"Every Body Wants To Be A Cat" from the Artstocats sung by Scatman Crothers and Phil Harris.

 

"Whistle and Stop" from Robin Hood (it plays at the very start of the movie) by Roger Miller, I'm a big fan of his.
