It's true.

 

I'm sure most of you have found out by now, considering the efficiency of the net. But I think we should have one thread to give our condolences. He was after all a very honourable and couragous man, and an important figure in many ways.

 

It is said he suffered with health problems, which is no wonder at his age. 95 is a good age tho.

 

He had such a great smile.

 

May he rest in peace.

If there's one statesman/politician that I admire and revere unlike any other, it's this guy. No one, and I mean NO ONE can ever hope to compare with him. It would be years, centuries even, for a man like him to be born into this world again.

 

A truly incomparable man second to none.

 

R.I.P. Mandela may a great man like you be reborn again.

I was sad to hear the news, and I only have massive respect and admiration for Nelson Mandela and all the work he put into healing South Africa after the apartheid era.

 

He was the finest leader the world has ever known, and an incredible human being.

 

Thank you for everything, Nelson Mandela.  I hope the world will continue to learn from you.
