Uhmm

Not even a single panel of Madara this chapter... damn those previews are completely wack. I knew the TNJ with Obito would definately happen no matter what and I knew this attack would leave him vulnerable to TNJ. Hopefully we get a good NaruSaku and Obirin parallel out of this. Not a bad chapter... just hope this TNJ will be something good and different than what we heard a million times before.

GUYS NARUTO SAW OBITO'S MEMORIES JUST LIKE WE PREDICTED HE WOULD

SPECIFICALLY RIN!! THE DEATH/HUGGING SCENE!!

Sorry for the caps but I'M EXCITED. For several reasons.

- the TnJ is finally starting, so we can start moving on from Obito and stuff.
- that means PROGRESS!! We got progress in this chapter!
- Naruto SAW RIN. And he CRIED (just a lil bit but u kno)
- the foundations for the ObiRin parallel confirmation are forming.

Lol, Obito's regretting this. I still think Kishi could have done a better job showing this but whatever. It's sort of weird that he's imagining himself with Team 7 ( + Sasuke...) and the other Rookies but again, whatever. Sakura looks different. Long hair, bangs covering her forehead. honestly I don't want the seal to appear on forehead all the time but that's just me
He seemed happier this time around, though... He was Hokage and all, aww.

I wonder what exactly Naruto means by taking off Obito's mask. Like, I have my thoughts and all but I may be wrong. He wants to see Obito's true thoughts and feelings, no? Underneath all that hate?...

Underneath that hate is love, of course.   Our time is coming...

Okay okay aside from the Obito stuff, I'm glad we got to see Gaara doing something and contributing (lol I like how he knew JUST what to do). And Bee, too! I love Bee.

Is it just me or did the colour pages look sort of weird? Maybe it was cause of the red lines... Hashirama and Madara being on the colour pages seems sort of unnecessary doe.

You know what I noticed with this chapter..

Obito ACTUALLY SEEMED HAPPY to be part of the ninja in the hidden leaf, he looked happy being next to all those people supporting him, he even gave himself a smile. It wasn't like last chapter where he was portrayed as indifferent. I hope this TNJ will be something amazing... Narusaku/Obirin... KISHI PLEASE.

Tug of War no Jutsu

 

I liked this chapter, it kept me in suspense every page, and I'm glad that Kishi remembered that Shukaku didn't give Naruto any chakra, I thought that when the Jutbi saw all the biju (minus Gyuki) in Naruto that Kishi forgot about that.

 

I wonder do you think Gaara will become Shukaku's Jinchuriki again, maybe try to befriend him like Naruto did with Kurama.

 

Anyway can't wait till next chapter

Not a bad chapter

I enjoyed it , it seems that we are finally moving forward , Sasuke, Konoha 11 all the shinobi alliance , Gokage and the death Kage are helping Naruto. That is quite the game Naruto has , ain't it,Obito? This was expected though, he saw his memories he knows about Rin, she will be mentioned in the following chapters. I smell a NS moment coming :3. He wil reach salvation with love that's the way the Manga swings .

I was happy that Sasuke supported Naruto there , i got afraid for a sec that he will flip flop ,but its too early.

I am getting excited . Madara is off panel , its his time to strike too...

Well then...

A strangely moving chapter, all things considered. The part I'm referring to is Tobi's despair as he continues to subconsciously have images of the life he could have lead. I'm not particularly fond of the overbearing nature Kishi has written with Naruto's dogma being the "one true path" mantra, but Tobi's mulishness to any and all pleas beforehand, the antithetical nature of character makes his situation all the more appealing to me as a reader. This TnJ was inevitable, but I will admit that it was handled quite decently.

 

The scene where everything is uniting together to extract the bijuu from Tobi failed to kindle any sort of reaction besides annoyance. It's been overemphasised throughout this entire fight and it almost comes across as oppressive how everyone is  complacently abiding by Naruto's personal desires. It's the "positive road" to take, I understand that, but to me it just seems like an overused moral concept that dissuades anyone from trying to seek another road in life that doesn't involve being part of Naruto's collective.

 

The segments relating to Tobi particularly were handled well imo. But the overbearing emphasis on cheesy narrative archetypes...not so much.

And so it begins

I guess this was phase 1 of the talk no jutsu. I seriously didn't expect for Naruto to find out about Rin the way he just did, and not only Rin but the different conection that Obito has with Naruto which he even mentioned near the end of the chapter. Strangely enough Naruto hasn't mentioned how he found himself in the same romantic predicament Obito was when he was younger.
 
Still, given that Rin's death was given special focus with Naruto crying about the situation I have the feeling that phase 2 of the talk no jutsu has a good chance of involving that particular event and how it's connected to Naruto's own feelings.

Thoughts

I figured talkie no justu was going to come around eventually, and now we'll have to see what Naruto says to make Obito realize his mistakes and want to change his way. It's gonna be tough, but I know Naruto can do it. I did enjoy the reaction Naruto gave when he saw Obito holding Rin in his arms. It makes me wonder if Naruto could've ended up in that situation. By the way did anyone see Sakura with long hair in Obito's mind?

TnJ has officially begun. Next chapter, it's all or nothing on the parallel. The fact Naruto cried is something that he can actually feel, which is shocking but realistic. I can't wait for next chapter. TnJ begins!

The next chapter will be full blown TnJ and I believe every steps will be taken each, such as friends, close ones (team), dreams, and him in general. It seems Naruto got to know plenty of Obito, so it's time to break it down. Also, I give them prop that instead of defeating it, extract it, because god knows they can't beat him one on one or whatever, so this is one way and I'm fine with that. Plus, consistency on the beast part. Kudos.

 

Lastly, anyone noticed that Kuruma was about to say something about Naruto. I do think Naruto is genuine Rikuoudu Sennin.
