Unexpected developments

Well that was an interesting chapter. Most of it was comprised of the Hokages, Naruto, and Sasuke attempting to stop Madara's resurrection but the final conversation between Tobi, Minato, and Sasuke is where is where the majority of plot development occurred.

 

His ambition to become the Jubi's jinchuuriki has been halted yet Madara doesn't appear to be too concerned with this fact. Either there is a stand-by plan for him to use or he's so imperious that any major setbacks to his plan mean little to him. 

 

So Tobi isn't dead yet. The status of ultimate jinchuurki will fall upon his shoulders. Who could have foreseen this development?

So in the end who was controlling who and what exactly happened? Madara was trying to control Obito who was trying to control the Juubi or? I am a bit confused..

Most of the chapter confused me, honestly. Kind of hard to follow. I'll have to go back and re-read it.

 

But omg, Minato realising that Obito was the one he fought all those years ago.  He must have been heartbroken. And that flashback of Minato asking Obito if he liked Rin, and then saying, "We'll become Hokage." And "If you were alive... I would have liked you to become Hokage." why you do this to me. why.

 

And holy kitten, the end. holy crap. Obito is the Juubi's jinchuuriki!! kitten's about to go down. 

 

What will Madara do? He doesn't seem so concerned that someone else became the jinchuuriki instead of him...

 

Also, why is two shadow clones Tobirama's limit? Shouldn't he have unlimited chakra? Or maybe I dunno exactly how the technique works, lol.

Thoughts

I'm glad to see Obito is being kept around for a while longer. And Minato's revelation must have been devastating.

Anybody else think that Minato's flashback was similar to Sai's conversation with Naruto?

Confuses the crap out of me how Obito was able to just willy nilly become the jinchuriki. I thought you needed to prepare some ritual seal, but Obito was like "Screw this, I'm sucking you right up".

 

Anyone else notice how Kishi is once again trying to bring home the fact that Naruto shouldn't give up on Sakura since Minato brought up the same topic in regards to Obito and Rin?

 

What do you know, Minato ships both NaruSaku and ObiRin.

So they stopped Obitos Jutsu to revive Madara and then Obito used the "buyed" time to become the "10th" Jinchuriki? Not bad.

Minato must be heartbroken to see what his student became.

 

I think this won't work out. Since the 10 Tails is not really a 10 Tails, more like 8 Tails (because they do not have Killerbees and Narutos Bijus).

I wonder what Madara will be doing now.

Maybe this was all planned ---> If he will not be resurrected, Obito will finish his Job.

I get it

It makes logical sense on why Obito went back to the battlefield because he was ready to become Jinchuuriki, but first he had to fight it off from Madara. Then, I guess he won so people got the wrong idea that Obito and Madara were working together like best buddies, while in reality, they weren't. Pretty much, the student became the one with upper hand, rather than the master. It's like killing your master secretly, but in this case, take your plan. Madara was supposed to be the one, but since those small hints that Obito became too ambitious with the idea, one day, he will betray. And boy, here we are. For parallel haters, hate to say this, but it's going to continue and maybe, just maybe, Sakura = Rin is happening. I am HYPED!
