Extra: Ayla’s body can create a special violet colored energy that can be used in various ways. It can be used internally to increase her strength and speed or she can mold it into weapons or attacks to use externallly. It also gives her the ability to heal herself as long as she isn’t out of stamina.

Background: Ayla's entire family was killed in a fire. She was saved only by being placed in the ArC program and receiving a core, something that she had been unconscious for. The strange situation caused her to be the only ArC that had not willingly entered into the program. Her deceased relatives include her parents and her grandfather.

Misc. A guard working for one of the many secretive research facilities stationed all over the world. While the facility he works at is more humane than most, he and his fellow guards still have their hands full dealing with some minor issues involving some of the more mentally questionable inhabitants of the facility, this includes both patients and scientists. Still, his main motivation is finding a cure for his ailing daughter, and helping out at the facility is his last, desperate hope.

Status: The Bryan personality is pretty much dead. His body lives on with The Jack personality. Though, the Bryan personality can resurface, particularly manifesting as a protective nature towards Catherine

Ability: No powers. Prides herself on knowing everything there is to know because information is power, and power leads to survival. Not exactly a jack of all trades, but is adept at several skills she believes to be integral to her survival. She carries a set of experimental knives, one pistol, and some spare ammo at all times.

Misc: She's moderately known in several circles under her alias name. She has several, but sticks to "Skadi" for now. Skadi is an informant to many as well as having her own sources. Occasionally, she's hired for jobs. Whether it's killing someone or tracking them down, she considers herself good at what she does.

Ability: Wind manipulation but when under cover and not wanting others to know about his powers he uses a PARA WARTHOG SS 45ACP 1911.

Misc: He's a very caring man, he is believed to be a monster who will kill anyone just to get his way but that was a lie made up by the people who made him with the powers he's had. He'll protect those close to him with his life, even if it means death. Can only remember his mother, and he sometimes has trouble remembering her face but the ring that he keeps on a necklace will always remind him of her name, Ella Bolton.

Edit 1: He was stolen at the age of 6 and brought into testing to see if he could handle the powers they would be giving him. Escaping when he was around the age of 17 he went out on his on and began his journey.

Jack of Knives

Age: Around 22-25

A mysterious apparition that only appears to Bryan. Its first appearance seemed to be triggered by Bryan's encounter with STRAWS after Ayla's escape. The Jack of Knives is always dressed in an older, bloodier version of STRAWS tactical vest. It constantly taunts Bryan with images of bloody, violent deaths and images of his late wife, dead in his arms. It is prone to laughter and always flipping a balisong (butterfly knife) with the image of a clown in its handle. This strange apparition has led Bryan to question his sanity and his own memories, considering the Jack's images also contain bits and pieces of his own past, along with images of events he was...sure never occurred, such as him being a member of an early incarnation of STRAWS.

Is this being of supernatural origin? Or has Bryan's own experiences chipped away his sanity and produced this monster? One thing's for sure, for the sake of his daughter, he must withstand this demon.

While his hair is grey his body and strategy make him look like one of the many young commanding officers, tall and strong build, not girth. The left side of his face discolored in a pattern of scarred skin.

With the destruction of many of the world governments it was the General and a team of business and social leaders that reorganized the remnants of the Western world into a single working faction. But while Cartwright tries to do things in the name of rebuilding humanity he also knows the threat of rogue super humans. Young Catherine Miller is the only daughter of guard Bryan Miller. She is suffering from an unknown disease due to accidental exposure of Core material during the mysterious event that killed her mother. She is currently being housed in a CoreSystems lab in an attempt to figure out a cure. The only light in her father's life after her mother's 'supposed' death, Bryan tries to visit her when he can. However, it remains to be seen if CoreSystems is helping Bryan for altruistic causes...or for an ulterior motive. He feels that Catherine is being held hostage, but there is no one else who can help her, so he must play along and hope CoreSystems honors their promise. In the end, Bryan can only look to Catherine's enthusiastic smile to clear his troubles...for now.

Lately, the Core Poisoning afflicting Catherine has somehow given her healing powers or a healing 'aura' of sorts. It is unknown how this developed. It also managed to slow down the harmful effects of her condition. It is possible that this mysterious turn of events can lead to a cure for the ailing girl.
