And if so, would you want the parents to make small cameos or be a big part of it, or even completely absent?

No, I don't really want that. There's always a point where a series should stop, interesting as the idea is. The current generation is good enough for me XD

No. That would be milking the series.

I remember a series that started to go into the lives of the main character's children. It wasn't good. I'm glad they quickly wrapped it up too.

whenever theres a good main character like naruto.

it always erks me when they make another series hoping we will love the next character more........i dont want the legacy to keep going....i want it to end with the first awesome main character

...its like simon taking over kamina's job.....(well kinda...kamina was never the main character BUT when simon took his attitude it felt weird)

That's more like the idea for a fan fiction and those are terrible. The ones I've read (sadly due of curiosity facepalm.png ) were really let downs especially when the kids were completely wrong. It was a story about Naruto and Hinata's son (yeah I know the story is already ruined with making the impossible pairing that will never become canon in the manga rolleyes.gif). I'm fine with this generation and I think Kishi is not going to keep milking the series forever.

I definitely wouldn't want to see that. I'm interested in their parents. I mean, I would like to see the kids, but a whole series about them? I wouldn't watch that.

Yeah I agree.
If anything it'd just give the next generation more of a sense to fulfill what their parents couldn't do, and isn't that what this generation is about in the series? It'd be too overdone and like Zac said, it'd be milking it.

Well I'm really undecided on this topic. Everyone keeps saying no, or that it ruins the series, but what about the Dragon series people? It successfully did just that, we got to see Goku grow up, have kids, and even become a grandpa. Getting to see the new generations grow up in that series was the best part. Not once did I feel that it killed the series or that it was dragging the story. Gt is another story, to me it doesn't exist. Anyhow I'm just saying that seeing a new generation wouldn't be so bad if done right, but Naruto ending and there being no squeal is ok too.

Thomas, you triple posted... O.o

A series about their kids? I don't see it. I'm all up for a series where Naruto is Hokage (and Sakura as his wfie happy.gif)
but a whole series just about their children? No..... I'm not saying that we should shun them and get them out but you know..... A whole series is a bit too much. :/

Like I said before if it's well done I think it would be interesting. I mean each generations purpose is to surpass the one before it, those would be some interesting battles. However I don't see a follow up series happening.

I would like it either way but honestly I don't want Naruto to continue FOREVER. I just want to see a little interaction with his family before it ends IF he gets a family, but I don't see his wife being anyone other than Sakura; a calmer, more gentle and motherly, yet still scary Sakura. tongue.gif So if he finishes it with Naruto with out expanding, great! if he MUST do a spin off series with Naruto's kids, at least make at the standard of Naruto at least that's all I ask for. cool.gif

True, yes.gif but it's not always a BAD thing cause you know the Cell and Majin Buu saga were kinda milking on Dragon Ball cause the creator Toriyama wanted it to end at the Frieza saga. Although stretching it as it is now will make it stale, not to mention illogical at some point. headscratch.gif

As interesting as seeing the next generation could be, I'm gonna say 'no'. Maybe a couple bonus chapters to be released at the end of the series, like an epilogue of sorts, but anything more than that would seem like too much of a stretch to keep things going.

I have to agree with the others, and say as much as I'd like to see that, it just wouldn't make any sense, but it couldn't hurt to do something like that in OVA form.
