If you read the top, you will see that the guy basically says that whoever she likes must be a really good for her to love him. After he said it, she though of Sasuke being very evil and cold now, so does this mean she loves him as always, or does it mean she understands that he is not good boyfriend material or whatever. Whatever the case, why didn't she think of naruto, I mean she is in love with him too (that part has been confirmed)... So basically I'm asking what do all you think about this!

As much as I hate to admit it, and I mean hate, I think it was Pro SS.
Unless she was thinking of Naruto, and then her mind drifted back to Sasuke. I don't know.

But why didn't she think of Naruto!?! Might have a reason later on, because its been proven that she loves Naruto and that she always thinks about Naruto before Sasuke now.

It might be because, and I hope, that Kishi works in mysterious ways or something. (I'm saying that like he's a God or something ) But yeah, I do hope that it's because of something related to her feelings for Naruto. I doubt Kishi would just leave the whole 'sakura's confession' thing hanging in the air like that and then make that panel without it having at least some positive infulences for NS while having also, some positive infulences for SS, or NH, or whatever else. I think it's literally a fandom war inside the whole fourth shinobi war, thing. Baaaaah.

Hm, we already discussed this a lot. But the conclusion was that Sakura was thinking of Sasuke because the the lover-nin said whoever she loves must be a great person. Well, he isn't and she can't believe how she could ever have that kind of crush on him. Also, lover-nin has obviously became a big fan of her just based on her looks or whatever and he doesn't know a thing about her personality so she was remembering that she used to feel the same way about Sasuke.

I really hope you're right. As soon as I read that chapter, I felt like a major SS weight just fell on the fandom.

I think it's an anti-ss moment. If it was pro why did she think of him in a bad light? He is positively demonic in that scene in her memory, so he is not a great guy.

LOL, I guess this already been discussed to death in the Chapter 540 Thread, as well as every now and again in the Debate Thread, but I suppose that 540 panel is important enough to warrant its own thread. Basically, though, there are two ways to look at that scene.

1.) Lover-nin offers his love letter to Sakura, who claims she is already in love with someone. After the guy mentions, "Anyone you love must be a great guy" she thinks of the one of she loves, Sasuke, who is not a great guy, as we see by the flames and demonic presense Sasuke has in her mind now.

2.) Lover-nin offers his love letter to Sakura, who claims she is already in love with someone. Because she's smiling when she says this, it is assumed she thinks of Naruto, but we don't see actually see it. Then, when the guy says, "Anyone you love must be a great guy" she feels guilty, since her first love did not turn out to be a great guy.

I personally think the first one makes more sense, but that's because I'm more of the skeptical type, and I have a tough time believing Sakura was thinking of Naruto there without seeing evidence of it. I'm not discounting the possibility of the second way of thinking, but the first one just makes more sense to me.

This is the thing to focus on basically. Even if that scene does confirm she still has feelings for Sasuke, they clearly aren't being shown in a positive light. On top of that, I really can't see why Kishi would waste valuable panel time to reaffirm Sakura's feelings for Sasuke, since that side of the love triangle has already been made apparent to the reader in the past. To me, that panel isn't a stand-alone scene, but rather the beginning of the end in finally resolving that part of Sakura's character.

But maybe I'm wrong, and Sakura was talking about Naruto at first, and Kishi just decided not to show it for some reason. I guess we'll find out in the future.

I think Kishi still might be letting Sakura get rid of Sasuke on her own terms (which will be probably near the end, cuz that would be amazing).

Sorry if i interrupted guys but i want to say this before i forget,I had a dream today while i was sleeping that sai was really injured because of...sorry its a dream so my mind is kinda blurry I dont remember from who,Anyone think that this is a message from the future ? but it kinda sucks if sai died So the dreams while you are sleeping come true some times right?

Science proves that you can dream of the future (but science also proves you can dream of anything, so that dream of yours could of most likely just been nothing), and now that I think of it, Sai dieing doesn't sound impossible... uh-ohh! Although I wish I dreamed of the future, Selena Gomez, Sakura, and me all married.. not bad right?

Back on topic :
I will have to say that is Anti-SS.
Why would you have negative thoughts about the person you love. I believe that Sakura has gotten over sasuke, but now sasuke has a negative affect on her. In that panel she doesn't look like she's in love with the guy. She looks ashamed that she ever had feelings for him. To me that moment was more of a "What was I thinking being in love with a guy like this..." type of moment.

Thats what I had in mind! I think she knows she is being too childish.
