I'm just wondering how he isn't gushing out blood and dying from exposure. I guess medical ninja hax is the only explanation.

if you look her arm is surrounded by medical chakra where the opening is. It helps to keep everything contained.

I am not overreacting so much as to the CPR as to the fact that Sakura is literally doing EVERYTHING she can to keep him alive. It shows how strong and creative she can be in such a tense state.

 

On another note did anyone catch the last sentence "Madara finally shows up in front of Kakashi"....
