What are they talking about in NF regarding the Iruka/Choji pics. Do they think she's been trolling them all along?

I think those "favorite blocks" are just some interesting pieces of information for each character instead of being what they like the most.

So if NH happened in The Last it would be based on a made up childhood flashback that was never implied in the manga?

If the purpose of the flashback is just so that Naruto can encourage Hinata (for the umpteen time) then I get it. That would mean is just a closed event exclusive to the movie. But having a couple become canon in a movie is an event that would have ramification for the future, which is something I cannot accept.

Game changers like that shouldn't be done in the movie. The manga deserves that right.

Maybe "first love / beginning of love" refers to that flashback when they were kids, were it all began, and how that memory is connected to events going on with the movie (Hinata's feelings and the scarf). I don't think it necessarily means that the climax of the movie is about someone's love starting.

You know, we like to joke a lot about that NS tease, but this is really one of the things that makes me feel something just doesn't add with the implication that NH could be canon in this movie.

There's no purpose to teasing NS if they really are going to be developing NH. It would be one thing if Naruto didn't like Sakura by the time of The Last, but that teaser suggests otherwise. I can't buy into the idea of Naruto being so fickle that he would switch from being in love with Sakura to going for Hinata in a movie. That's completely against his character.

It would be one thing if Naruto was already over Sakura, but that teaser we got in September tells us otherwise.

It would be such an awful insult to Naruto's character to make him switch from Sakura to Hinata in just one movie that will probably take place in the span of a couple of days.

Of geez. Young Naruto and Hinata. And Hinata is in four of those screenshots. Not liking the look of all this, I'll be honest. Blushing Hinata and I'm certain those are Naruto's hands on her shoulders. Not over till it's over though.

If Sakura isn't in the trailer, I don't think that's necessarily cause for concern. It might be a good thing, who knows? That first trailer wouldn't have hinted how Naruto would react to Sakura's increased beauty if there wasn't something there.

Exactly! That's why I don't get. If we're suppose to see Naruto developing feelings for Hinata in this movie then what the hell was that about Naruto in focusing on Sakura's womanhood?

Jeez, way to make Naruto a fickle bastard. That's why I can't believe this movie will be about NH. No matter how I imagine it going it just turns out all wrong.

To me the manga is what's important. Kishi can say that "The Last" is closely connected to the story all he wants, but that shouldn't meant that you have to sacrifice giving the manga a proper end in order to make a movie.

I'll reserve judgment until next week for the final chapter, but if we really see an open end in the manga only to see NH realized in the movie I simply can't take that seriously since it means Kishi just decided to change the story near the end on a whim.
