Well, since Daisy asked. laugh.gif The chamorus are a group of people who belong to an ancient culture that has been around for nearly 4000 years. Not the oldest but certainly not the youngest. My ancestors were, considered by archeologist, one, if not the best, of the greatest seafares of the ancient world. My people originated from southeast asia. Modern Chamoru is actually a mix of ancient chamoru, spanish, tagalog(filipino), american english, japanese, with little influence of other asian languages, chinese, austronesian, and hawaiian. Ancient chamoru society was mostly "maternal avuncuclan", which it sorta is still today. maternal avuncuclan in other words mean that the women are in charge. Oh man, that means Daisy makes all the decisions now. Another note is that we had been occupied by several foreign countries throughout the centuary. There, happy now. Thats the basics of makes the chamorus THE CHAMORUS. If you would like to know more here's a nice info site for you. http://www.answers.com/topic/chamorros

Wow, I've never heard of that before. So it's the women in charge, huh? interesting . . . .

So uhm, well I'm of Chinese-Burma (also known as Myanmar) descent, but I was born in America, so I clicked American.

Oh . . .I have lots of reading to do, don't I?

I read part one the other day, and it really has sort of made me remember why I started liking narusaku in the first place (I'm a little bit rusty with part one of the Manga)

An amazing piece of work! (from what I've read so far) I could never focus long enough to do anything that long laugh.gif

Sakura offered to go with Sasuke because she doesn't want him to go to Orochimaru.

Take it from her perspective, what the hell would you do when a friend of yours is about to betray the village and go join the enemy for power. You would do anything you could to try and persuade them to stop. Even if Sasuke did say "sure, lets go" I doubt Sakura would be willing to go all the way with him. Remember, Sakura is the only member in Team 7 who hasn't suffered, her perfect little world, or whatever was left of it came crashing down when Sasuke left the village. She realized then that not everything will go the way you want it to go.

But I thought Sakura suffered with insecurities as a child, being left out, made fun of as a small girl? Even if it was just teasing and such, she was a younger child, so I'd think that would have a pretty big effect on her in the future, as shown when she was fighting Ino in the Chuunin exams. It did, isn't she still a little touchy on the subject of her forehead, or am I being deluded by fanon?
