#967741 The Great NaruSaku Fic Listing III

Posted by Shintaro on 24 August 2018 - 04:49 AM

Hello. So, like many others, I am kinda self-promoting my own story that I just wrote. I'm pretty nervous about it because it's my first one of the pair that I've written. I've always wanted to but I finally gave it a go. And I recently got muse for NaruSaku so I was tempted to try it!

It's nothing special, but it's an attempt!

#523652 The NEW NaruSaku Debate Thread

Posted by Shintaro on 20 April 2014 - 07:54 PM

I like Narusaku because I think it is the most likely final pairing and has the most buildup throughout the series. I like how they have developed throughout the series especially the beginning of part two which I believe was the best time for Narusaku.  Still I have been rather disappointed lately in it. It just does not seem to matter anymore. We just had the perfect event for a Narusaku moment with Naruto dying and Sakura there and we did not get anything significant. Yes we got CPR and Sakura wanting to save Naruto but no interaction.

Recently I hardly get any indication Naruto thinks of Sakura any different than the rest of his friends (yes we get the girlfriend comment but that was sort of a joke initiated by someone else and besides that we never see Naruto thinking about Sakura.). The thing is Naruto and Sakura hardly interact anymore. The reason I like this pairing more than any other in this series is they had the most development through mutual interaction. I don't really care about the other pairings but the lack of interaction recently is glaring.

Sakura recently starting healing Naruto when he was unconscious and as soon as he waked up he left without so much as acknowledging her much less having meaningful interaction. All recent Narusaku moments have been Sakura thinking about Naruto but not the other way around. This is getting annoying because without them ever interacting it is hard to really feel anything for this pairing anymore so I really hope eventually Kishi let's them actually have meaningful interaction.

Whether you want to believe it as a joke or not, it still shows he thinks differently of her. I doubt he thinks Shikamaru is ''more or less'' his girlfriend, along with the others. I'm sure they will interact more once we get out of this arc and on to the Sasuke vs. Naruto fight.

But then again, this is just my two sense of it.

#523646 Sakura resolving her feelings

Posted by Shintaro on 20 April 2014 - 07:21 PM

Yeah, I feel Sakura needs to resolve her feelings with Sasuke first. I say this, and it's only what I think,

because we've already seen that Naruto won't accept her if he thinks she still likes Sasuke.

Then she somehow realizes her feelings for Naruto, rather it be before or after Naruto's fight with Sasuke.

To answer your question, that is how I would prefer it to be.

Of course, I think she's going to do something to prove to Naruto that she likes him over Sasuke, but that's just me.

I'm sure however it happens, I'll still be satisfied since I've been waiting so long for it to happen. Lol...

#523639 How should Chapter 540 be interpreted?

Posted by Shintaro on 20 April 2014 - 06:01 PM

I have to agree with BakeNeko-Chan.

This scene indicates that Sakura understands that Sasuke's not a 'good guy' like the fodder ninja said. It's as simple as that.

No, she wasn't thinking about Naruto. I understand that some may say that she was happy at first when she told the fodder she had or liked someone else. (I don't know the exact words, so forgive me on that part.) But, I think she did that to reject him nicely. Sakura's nice like that.

I get how some may think it's confusing or hard to understand, although.

Again, this is how /I/ indicate this scene. If you disagree, that's fine! I wouldn't worry much about this scene, especially since it's been shown she does not trust him. That doesn't mean, she doesn't have feelings for him, because she does. But anyway, that's another topic. Carry on.

#523634 Why DO we like Narusaku?

Posted by Shintaro on 20 April 2014 - 05:07 PM

Well... I like NaruSaku for... personal reasons.

Though I will say that, with Naruto, he takes 'love' serious, as should we all.

I think it's nice that his character has that characteristic. And, I'm not saying the other characters don't.

For Sakura, I plainly just love her character so..

You can tell that the bond between her and Naruto has been really growing since Part 2. Even in Part 1 she did

ask him to save Sasuke, so she /knew/ already he could be the one to do it. She believed in him, like she believes in his dream.

The interaction between the two is really great as well. I think it goes perfect for people who should be in a relationship, ya know?

Ahh... the reasons everyone else gave is pretty much what I would put too. This pairing has had so much development it's just great.
