I wonder if Sakura was originally not Salad's mom, but Salad's teacher. Like Tsunade to Sakura. Would be cool to have Salad and Shinachiku studying under Sakura while Hanami studied under Naruto.

This has always been my theory. Bad eyesight is genetic, although not 100%. And I believe Kishi came up with the Gaiden plot not just to screw with people but to insert some of his original ideas.

Sasuke was the one least effected by the ending. What he became a wandering hobo with a kid he doesn't take care of and eventually becomes the mentor to the new main character. Compared to Sakura's regressing back to zero, Naruto failing at everything he set out to do, Hinata's quick rise in importance and then equally quick fall because she lack anything character-wise the could keep her as a main character, and Kakashi has pretty much disappeared like the rest of the older generation.
 
As for nH they don't care. They won and they got a wedding in the anime as the ending to the anime. Of course that's for the radicals, most just got bored and moved on to other series.

NS people were smart enough to leave. I did but came back lol. SNS too, but theyre kinda stuck as the ship has lots of moments in the sequels.

But neutrals, ns and sns people are mostly anti-ending. SS too actually which is strange..like youre almost there mate : v

The boruto fandom is divided in two; those hatewatching it and those that are actually serious.  Follow itsumosad on twitter they unpack all the nonsense effectively. 

It's really infuriating when someone uses Naruto as a scapegoat to justify their "Shonen shouldn't have romance" bias.  Just because some authors couldn't competently write a convincing resolution to their romantic subplot does not mean it shouldn't be included, or that it can't be done well.  Dragon Quest: Dai's Adventure, Beet the Vandel Buster, Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, Slam Dunk, World's Strongest Disciple:Kenichi, Detective Conan, Fullmetal Alchemist, Noragami, Blue Exorcist, Mission: Yozakura Family, Love Hina, Rave Master, Fairy Tail, Seven Deadly Sins, Nisekoi, Rosario + Vampire, Undead Unluck, MHA, Black Clover, and heck even Dragon Ball, handles romance reasonably well. And those are just the ones off the top of my head.

If the show didn't have romance the easiest thing to do is hero x heroine. And that's what happened, they just replaced the heroine(until she became a mother lol). Never have I read a shonen where the protagonist likes the heroine but she ends up with another. Deuteragonist x heroine does exist, but in that case the hero is not interested in romance at all. This happens in magi, and probably others that I don't know of.

 

I mean the argument is that we shouldn't force the girl's feelings, but every character's feelings are orchestrated by the writer..using irl logic won't work lol.

 

This is one of the reasons the hero's feelings were erased from history. He couldn't move on because then he'd lose the love triangle. So he married his first love.

Let's be real here...while we all agree Kishimoto just royally screwed Sakura over...their criticisms of her are correct thanks in most part to the ending. Yeah, we can make arguments here and there, but she still ended up being obsessed over a boy to the point that if you told me she would abandon her kid because Sasuke told her to, I would definitely believe she would do it. Hell, Naruto is able to abandon his family when Sasuke comes calling, so would you be that surprised?

The Sakura we all loved was killed by the ending. Same with Naruto, Sasuke, and all characters that are not Hinata.

I think the only fans still defending Sakura are SS people. But in gaiden, she comes to her daughter's aide and runs up to hug her. Sasuke is also there and they haven't talked to eachother in 12 years. It's not a romantic reunion, lol. If you ever wonder whether he magically fell in love with her Kishi shoves that answer in our faces.

 

And in Boruto while I don't consider it Kishi's work, Sakura never hugs Sasuke, but they sometimes have trio hug with their daughter. Salad is between them, they look like a divorced couple co-parenting.. Sakura isn't as obsessed with Sasuke as shippuden, and neither is Naruto. Sakura does other detestable things such as covering up Taka's photo with her own. She also trie to get a kiss or hug from Sasuke and gets all   when he acts like she doesn't exist. This is all in gaiden, 100% Kishi's work.

 

Hinata, in the Boruto movie when some enemy invaded and both Naruto and Boruto was inside, she said Naruto's name only. Whenever both return from a dangerous mission, she hugs Naruto first. I'm not sure if she hugs Boruto after. This all makes me wonder if Kishi really endorses NH. I think he loathes SS and expressed much resentment in gaiden. NH, not sure, he did come up with the scarf idea because his wife made him a scarf once.

 

And about the last part, I think Hinata's character was also killed. She may have had a purpose long ago. Whatever it was all her flaws were erased to mold her into a perfect love interest. There's nothing wrong with a glow-up but it's obvious she was made 10x more gorgeous to be worthy as the love interest. She didn't have much personality to begin with, but Kishi took that away and in the blank period she's just a doll. Then in Boruto, she's scary? lol. Boruto is scared of her. SP transforms Hinata into whatever is needed of her. Because Naruto isn't the strict parent, someone has to become Sakura.

 

In this sequel, the only ones that gets to shine are Naruto and Sasuke. They often lose so Boruto can save the day, but I mean they get arcs and screentime. Sakura and Hinata are usually at home, mothering etc, while S&N are on the battlefield. I say usually, because once in a while we see Sakura in a hospital.

Emotional death? I felt nothing. I watched it and honestly I just didn't care at all. I mean yeah they tried to make it emotional through the teary eyes of the scumbag, but I'm a psychopath and that doesn't work on me.
Yeah it was hard to connect to it since I haven't watched a single episode of the new anime, nor do I read the manga, but even so I felt that moment fell flat on its face.
I guess this was the only way they know how to bring back some old fans, but good luck keeping them.
Of the ones that watched it, like myself, how many of them did it legally? How many of them contribute financially? Not many I believe. I sure didn't.

I wonder wholl be beside him when he does. Boruto and Kawaki probably, hell die for their development. Last time Naruto died together with the man he loved with the woman he loved beside him. It was poetic AF. But NS no longer have a platonic bond. They interact in eachothers presence but dont really spend time or have deep moments anymore. It seems to me Naruto is only friends with Sasuke at this point. Will Hinata be by his side? Shes living as a civilian I think. Will we see peoples grief, Sakuras grief? I hope Naruto and Sasuke die together. They shouldnt be apart, and theyre supposed to have mirrored lives. I am a multishipper and I dont ship SNS as much as NS, but I still like it.

Anyway the Ototsuki clan feels outta place to me. I know Kaguya is connected to Indra and Ashura, but she came out of nowhere. I think she and her clan was made on a whim when the idea of Boruto popped up. Random villain that sets up new ones for the sequel. It also made the hyuuga clan somewhat relevant, werent they connected? Great for Hinatas role as the new love interest.

 
If he does that, that would bring BS into the entire series and the fandom would be in an uproar. I cannot wait for that  ! Even though it does consider lazy writing but the writing went out the window when they first started this crap, remember?

I dont think hell do it I was just disappointed of his dead never-give-up attitude, and how he treats his child. I think its more likely Naruto will die, because the Boruto writers are struggling how to make Boruto the hero when his dad is the worlds strongest ninja. Or at least, should be. He should be mf peaking right now, but hes weak and dumb so Boruto can save the day. Its his series now! XD

Oh, but I think animefans will be disappointed soon. Im not sure if Kuramas death is well known, but Narutos new powerup made a popularity wave. People dont care about his son. And Naruto isnt that cool without the fox. I wonder if fans will be pissed when Kurama dies in the anime, and I wonder how weak Naruto will be since hes relied on Kurama for so long.

Without more context. Pretty sure that was due to the Karma seal, where even Bolt's and Nail's personality would have been overwritten by their Kaguya clan member infecting them. Sasuke also promised to kill Bolt if that were to happen. So, it was both necessary and a mercy kill. Since, if it got to that point; Bolt would have no longer existed anyways.
 
Though it does like always fly in the face of the lessons of Naruto. Since, apparently, the First Hokage's big mistake was finally giving up on Madara and decided to just kill him to defend the village they made, instead of giving him his thousandth third chance. 

It would be a mercykill yes, even so they didnt talk about it like that. Naruto said hed do anything, even kill his 13 year old kid, to protect the village. The real Naruto would say Ill definitely save Boruto ttebayo!.

Killing Kurama was just the stupidest decision. Kishi built 80% of Narutos power from him. I always thought Naruto shouldve learnt to fight without the fox, there is such a big gap between base Naruto and KM Naruto.

Miserable and put up this false giggling yes woman act at the start. She was not herself around him and it stands true even now. The relationship is disjointed and dysfunctional, no matter how you look at it. Just as Hinata did nothing to pursue a relationship with Naruto, Sasuke did nothing to pursue a relationship with Sakura and in fact practically sunk it himself. He coldly dismissed and trampling on Sakura's feelings when she poured her heart out to him in chapter 693.

Those moments made the SS plot twist even more twisted.

*Lets her fall into lava but takes Naruto and Juugo with him*
- You really do make me sick
*Murders her in a genjutsu*

All this happened in the span of a few chapters. Youd think Kishi would try to soften the blow this late in the series.

In part one. When he did that genjutsu point out to raise Sakura's spirits after he beat it down a few days before.
 
She also in part one smiled a lot when trying to flirt with him.

Thats why I said P2. SS in P1 had potential, a love couldve been built from the comradery/friendship they had. I think I changed my mind after the apple incident, and even more during Sakuras confession. And she actually vowed to bring Sasuke back together with Naruto, which couldve strengthened the SS bond. Now that theyre canon thats a wasted opportunity. Kishi cut Sasukes bonds with all of Konoha except Naruto. In P2 SS went straight to hell. Im not saying this because I hate it, Sasuke didnt give two kittens about Kakashi either. He cared for Naruto, Taka and no one else. Thats until the mysterious flip in 699, I excluded it as I consider it a retcon to the 698 chapters before it.

Anyway I remembered a few months back I argued with a ss fan about this fan fic and one the arguments he/she made is how sakura never smiles in this dousing, been a while since I read it fully so does anyone know its true? Granted won't really matter now since this person blocked me.

In P2, I felt Sakuras her feelings and behavior toward her teammates were played against eachother to show contrast. Makes negativity in S>S and positivity in S>N even more in your face.

And I wouldnt bother with proenders. SS may be canon, but what does that mean in a retcon? SS relation in fanfics are completely fanonbased, and in contrast to actual canon.
