What if he offers an alternate ending, like the one in How I Met Your Mother? Because it seems so to me.

 

I couldn't possibly accept it on the grounds that it's the ALTERNATE ending. It would be only to appease us and I'm so angry at Kishi right now that I'd rather be appeased by a fanfiction author.  :hm:

I still can't believe that after all 698 chapters of character development, we ended up with the sunken ship.

This is why it was so much easier to accept NH and SS as canon when Evil was spoiling. Pessimism means you're either right or pleasantly surprised. :(
