I'd still be fine without the parallels as all of the development has pointed to NaruSaku. I think the parallels are just subtle winks and nods for more observant readers. I know I didn't catch them at first. I did get a bit of a chuckle when Kushina said find a girl like me though.

I asked my friend previously about that. It's the SJ cover for 14 february, in Japan. Sakura says something about chocolate/chocolate-candy jutsu or something along the way and the thing is that, in Japan, the girl offers chocolate to the boy on the 14th.

Yeah sort of like that, Naruto thinking about Sakura buying chocolates for him.

Nice. Hinata doesn't get a boss fight or a fight because that's not her character. It's funny because I thought of the opposite before I started reading/watching Naruto. You know the idea already, so no need to go greater detail.

Yeah, we have been mentioning it. Parallel is a serious business and not just that line, but reasons to give her the thing he found precious. As for the ending, I believe they split because Mario is going to be hunted by those men who he owe or something. You can argue he'll die or live, but pretty much he's on the run.

The main chara named Hachibe. He's so Naruto-ish. So stupid sometimes but when his precious people get hurts, he's get stronger to protect the other. Theres a lot a girl in this manga but the main rival between the girls is a tsundere type named Sakurako and a shy girl with big breast named Yukari. My friend told me that there's ascene where the shy girl slapped Hachibe (like Naruto 615) but then the girl give him a support and said something like, "Don't give up."

But of course, in the end, there's only one girl that capture his heart.

Funny thing is, at first, Sakurako hated Hachibe, but as the story goes on, she falls for Hachibe And there's one scene where Hachibe's dad said to Hachibe that one day Hachibe will find a girl like his mother.

It's so NaruSaku-ish, ne?

Yes it's done. But I'm not done reading the manga yet. It's 12 vol as far as I know.
And ... it's a harem manga

My friend recommended it to me, because she's done reading and the tsundere girl is the winner. Sakurako being bullied in the past like Sakura. And Hachibe loved Sakurako's eyes while Naruto loves Sakura's forehead. Parallel oh parallel~

I did not get surpresed someome pointed out a manga called "Dragon Quest" which has the same set-up but the shy girl dies in the end.

So now that it's clear that the mother and love interest having similarities is the real deal with Kishi, does it make you feel that it's now even more obvious that NS was always the intended pairing?

Do any of you think there's any spec of a chance that Hinata is the parallel to Kushina? I think that a casual reader that wasn't aware of paring wars could immediately guess that if there's any girl in Naruto's age group that resembles Kushina that would be Sakura.

@Heaven on Earth: If you're talking about Mario, well no, but now I think about it, if they do green light this manga, it does leave an adventure for these two but time will tell. That said Mario is going to be hunted, so best to leave anyone else out of the trouble. I thought that was nice, especially the guy who shot point blank, making Naruto the only Jesus is in his world but I digress.

I'll be honest, I always thought it was intended pairing from the start, but this one is seriously icing it. As for Hinata, it's a huge stretch. I do mean huge. The anime, game, and all other media form, including the movie, suggest NS/MK. I think judging by the way of Kishi's writing, Naruto may bring up that Sakura reminds him of his mother. It's matter of execution and Kishi don't want to be redundant, hence not mentioning it after his mom disappear. For Mario, it was a one-shot. For Naruto, it's a series, a long one at that. We have to be patience and wait till that journey takes us there.

Fun fact: when Kushina's episode occurred, a lot of people in 2chan screamed Sakura/Kushina and this drove people from NF off to the point that they started to hate Kushina. I'm not kidding. You can find that thread in NF and you would see so much hatred fueled. It's.....sad.

Sasuke getting all parallels such Minato/Kushina (though replace with his actual parents), ObiRin (change up the whole background entirely), and JiraTsu (though replace Jiraiya with Orochimaru). It's a stretch but what if though.

Anyways, it would seem that all of the big 3 make an appearance here.

You got one piece featuring Luffy and Nami, Naruto featuring Naruto and Sakura, and finally Bleach featuring Ichigo and Orihime.

There's also that one to the far right that I've never seen before... (can anyone identify it?)

The real question here is if the authors themselves drew this and it was edited together or if this was done by a seperate artist who imitated their work.

In any case this cover is a +1 for LuffyxNami NarutoxSakura and IchigoxOrihime

...which clearly shows the heroes and heroines of all the SJ series. that said it could also mean that the valentines day cover may have just been for heroes and heroines and not necessarily indicative of the final pairings.

Good point about who's story is it. I too didn't care about pairing about later on. It's the adventure that made me care a lot. As for Sakura's hate, one word: tsundere. Honestly, if they start any other manga before Naruto that has the same storyline in romance, they would have to accept the way it works. Sadly, most of them starts off with Naruto, much like how old generation started off with DBZ, or if you're very young at the time, Pokemon. It's just the way it is. Honestly, I couldn't care less.

Most People don't hate Sakura, they just hate the fact that she's in the way of their favorite pairing.

Some people hated her confession because they thought that she was playing Naruto, and a lot of people hate the fact that she still has feelings for Sasuke

No I think they just hate Sakura. She was quite annoying in part 1 and her obsession with Sasuke really hurts her character. She wasn't very useful in fights and ended up being a burden on team 7. I think if anything people hated Sakura while also liking Naruto. Because of this they ignored everything NaruSaku related because they didn't want Naruto to have anything to do with Sakura and decided that NaruHina is much better since it's the only other pairing that makes any sense because of Hinata's crush on Naruto.

The first impression is that matters, i also hated Sakura on part 1 seriously dude, Naruto saved her and did everything to her and she was about to abandon Naruto to go for the guy who treated her like trash.

The Valentine's Day one is a plus one. The Summer one well it's up to you, though it does suggest that Kishi is more favor of Sakura, as some of them in there aren't really heroine, like KHR. They usually pick love interest or any girls they feel to draw. So it's a plus for Sakura fans I guess you can say. I would say that SJ is more in favor with NS. I mean do we really have to know the date of the road to NS began, but I'm not arguing.
