The true reception of this film has been discussed thoroughly throughout the last 100 pages of this thread. The movie currently holds 2.86/ 5 stars on Yahoo JP by viewers. These ratings are still falling, despite many of the one-star ratings being deleted for no reason. There is no doubt at all that this movie is not received well in Japan outside of the NH fanbase.

The Yahoo ratings are rates by fans, which is the most accurate reflection of the general attitude to the film. These ratings are averaged from actual written reviews, not from just people voting.

Unburntmhysa confirmed there were ~180 anti-Naruto threads.

It was from a recent interview, the same one where he mentioned the NH kids don't have the Byakugan because he forgot, and he might make a third child to fix that. It was translated by TakL I believe.

I hope that Japanese fans would continue with this because it seems that our voices have no effect and maybe just maybe in the near future the ratings will be so bad that they will have to cancel naruto.Kishimoto only then will realize hes mistake

So the movie of Naruto the last will be delayed/postponed in the Philippines? Then that's good. I went to SM malls and I haven't seen any cinema poster of Naruto at SM cinema yet. I also went to other anime stores here in Manila where Naruto stuff there, I don't see Hjnata stuff either. It's better be like that. Someone already suggested me to watch Tokyo Ghoul and Parasite to help me move on with the Naruto Ending Naruhina Movie. Because that movie is for Hinata fans only. It's a waste to watch. Just as Japanese fans, I will also give 1 star too.

oh yes !!! Definitely give tokyo ghoul a try! It's very good, and thx to the anime, it got even more famous! You might wanna try boku no hero academia, too

It's really ironic how SP tried to get everyone to worship Hinata like them but everything turned out to be the opposite. Most neutral fans didn't really care about the NH ending. But this movie made them hate Hinata and Naruhina. Plus Sakura is getting more love and support because of it. (All in the Japanese fanbase)

How to Train a Dragon 2 was great a story, man Hiccup god damn.. don't wanna spoil anything, but damn... The romance between Hiccup and Astrid is something that got the romance development properly from start to finish and that's one of the view things I'll appreciate about the movie. 

 

Just to give you a heads up, next week is the two episode finale for not just the season, but also for the series, and Tbh I've never been so nervous about an ending to a series in my life after what happened with Naruto. I won't say what happened in episode 10 and episode 11 (this week's episode), and this gonna be on my mind for most of next week.. Ugh...... miracles please come into play next week

How to Train a Dragon 2 was great a story, man Hiccup god damn.. don't wanna spoil anything, but damn... The romance between Hiccup and Astrid is something that got the romance development properly from start to finish and that's one of the view things I'll appreciate about the movie. 

 

Just to give you a heads up, next week is the two episode finale for not just the season, but also for the series, and Tbh I've never been so nervous about an ending to a series in my life after what happened with Naruto. Last week's episode was pretty good and this week's episode was great too, and kinda left me with I want to know what happens next. Korra is truly amazing, she's come a long way from what she was since the beginning of the series.

I guess the quality of NH in this movie comes down to making Hinata into Sakura and Naruto turning into something he never was like a liar and a scumbag, yeah such quality .

We are spared from the NH franchise invading the Philippines. But I heard it will be shown in the cinemas on January along with the other countries. I haven't visited Comic Alley yet though.

Okay guys, step back from this for moment, and actually analyze the reception we have been getting from this film. Because I keep reading inaccurate information on this forum. Of course I understand everyone here hating it, that's obvious, yet I want to know the general census. However this is proving more a problem, mostly due to the fact that everyone on this site seems really bias. Every time I read anything good brought about the film on this forum, it is always counter with a negative or an excuse. Could this film actually be good, and we're letting our own sorrow-ness and hatred blind us to it?

 

Now don't get me wrong, story wise...this movie seems dumb. But since I have not seen it, I will give it the benefit of the doubt, and will wait for accurate information rather he say or she says from people on this forum. The problem lately is that a lot members are saying things, though do not give much evidence to support. So I really want to know the true reception of this film, cause if it is truly well receive, then that's that. I just want to know for the sake to just have a better understanding how other fans view this. Heck, personal people who have actually seen it (illegally or not) will also be cool, if it hasn't already.

 

Any film premised on retconning the story is not good.
