OK like I said in my previous rant if this is truly the end that we get I will not acknowledge it and I’ll create my own ending. This is not how Naruto should’ve ended, this is how it ended.
I’m going to create 2 yes 2 different endings. A NS ending and a NH ending. I know surprising right? I’ll explain later why.
Now I’m going to make this as short as possible without going into too much detail because we are dealing with a lot of characters and many sub-plots. And it would take me a lot to write this. Plus I’m really pressed for time.
Like I said in my previous rant the story ended at chapter 698 and from there I’ll write my own ending.
So here we go. We start with chapter 699. Naruto and Sasuke are still laying on the ground exhausted. Naruto is actually sleeping while Sasuke is awake. Both Kakashi and Sakura arrive at the valley of the end. Sakura begins to heal both Naruto and Sasuke. However before she actually starts Sasuke interrupts her. And tells her: “Sakura I’m sorry for what I did to you and tried to do to you. I don’t know if you’ll ever forgive me but we don’t have time. I’m going to die soon, I’ve lost too much blood and my chakra level is incredibly low. There’s no point in trying to save me. You’ll just waste your chakra. Besides this is the way I want to go. I want to die, I want to end this war between the Senju and Uchiha once and for all. So don’t waste your chakra on me. Do everything in your power to save Naruto. He’s the one that will bring peace in the world. I believe in him, you believe in him and the entire world believes in him. He will succeed where everyone else failed.”
Sakura intervenes with: “So you finally acknowledged Naruto as your friend. I’m proud of you. I just wished you would’ve realized this sooner. Naruto and I only wanted to save you because we care about you. I also wish to save your life even if you don’t.” Sasuke: “No this is my choice, I deserve this for everything I did and wanted to do. My death will help Naruto bring peace, it won’t be a perfect world because there’s no such thing as a perfect world but it will never be like this ever again. I also want you as well as Kakashi to know that I cared about you guys like my family even though I didn’t show it and for that I’m truly sorry. Speaking of you Kakashi, since I’m going to die I want you to get my Rinnegan so you and Naruto can undo IT. And after that destroy my eyes, both the Sharingan and the Rinnegan. If they will continue to exist then one day the future generations will have to face what we faced and maybe the outcome won’t be as it is today.
In my entire life I have never ever read or seen a story that treats its fans like this. I have never seen a story telling the audience that what they’ve followed thus far is now irrelevant and it doesn’t really matter. 15 years this story has been going on and now the movie says f those 15 years.
I would really want to meet whoever was in charge and come up with the idea that we should make a movie that destroys the manga, tells the audience that all of us are idiots just so we can put Naruto and Hinata together and fail at that as well. Because Naruto only wants Hinata because of his rivalry with Toneri. He just can’t accept losing to someone.
Putting Naruto and Hinata together is easy. All one has to do is follow two simple steps. The steps that I used in my ending. First of all Naruto confronts Sakura about his feelings towards her, she reject him thus giving him the ability to move on and thus giving him closure. And then you build NH on top of the moments that Naruto and Hinata had in the manga. That’s it. Two simple steps.
You don’t make a movie that nullifies the manga, the moments from it, the information from it, the bonds, the messages, you don’t need to create a movie that is based on the first Naruto movie with Shion because that’s really it. SP copied a lot from that movie and the Rock Lee SD. And you don’t treat the people that followed this story like complete idiots.
Oh and I almost forgot, Kishi’s interviews. That’s just the icing on the cake.
He first came out and said that the reason why Naruto and Sakura’s relationship is so similar to Minato’s and Kushina’s and why Naruto and Sakura are so close is because he was trying to mislead his readers. That it’s basically a red herring. That’s bullsh**. You do not create a red herring for 15 years. What he did is called foreshadowing and development. A red herring is done for 2 or 3 moments not for 15 years.
Then he comes out and says that he only made Naruto end up with Hinata because he felt sorry for Hinata. Yeah you heard correct, he felt pity for Hinata. He also said that Sakura loved Naruto romantically.
And the latest one is: He said that Naruto and Sakura loved each other romantically even after the events of his 699 chapter and even in the movie. My God what’s wrong with this guy?
He doesn’t even try to defend his own work. All he’s doing is pissing everyone off. It’s like he’s trying to make sure no one will buy part 3.
You know I finally figure it out what this “ending” really is. The truth is we didn’t get an ending. No, what we got instead is a poorly and horribly executed excuse for us to continue following this story with part 3 and upcoming movies. Because part 3 is the best it tells us that the manga that is based on never even existed. It treats us like idiots.
That’s why we get introduced to this brand new character that looks and acts like Naruto. Because they want to milk this series forever. They gave us a character similar to Naruto so we can continue buying their crap, they believe by introducing a character like Naruto people would continue with part 3. That’s why that kid is neglected by Naruto because they’re trying to lure us in and make sure we follow their crap. It’s nothing more than bait. They’re trying to lure us in by giving us the same story again.
There are other things wrong this movie but like I said I’m pressed for time. But before I go I really need to say something.
This “ending” that we got should never be accepted by anyone. No matter what kind of a fan you are. It’s an insult to each and every one of us. I’ve followed this story for about 4 years or just a little bit over. I know people that followed it for way more than me. All of us followed it for different reasons. Because we liked the characters, the action, the messages, the dialog etc. truth is we are all Naruto fans because if we weren’t we wouldn’t have followed this story in the first place. And we all deserve better than what we got. Even you NH fans, once again I say congratulations but seriously take a look at how they ended it.
That’s why what we got should never be accepted by anyone. I used to debate a few years ago with people on forums and even YouTube. But eventually I stopped and just created my rants and let people decide if they want to read it or not. Now the real reason I created my previous rants is because I always wanted to open people’s eyes. And even now that’s what I’m trying to do. So I have to ask if you’ve opened your eyes, please do not support this crap that we got. We deserve better. We deserve a proper ending. And there’s a change we can get it.
Now you might ask well how to do that? The answer is simple. We have to vote with our wallets. Stop buying the manga volumes, stop buying the anime on DVDs, stop buying their merchandise, stop buying their games, don’t watch the movie and don’t follow part 3. And don’t even give them the pleasure to go online to see that you’re pirating their stuff because they can look at those numbers and say “Wow people really like our crap let’s do more of it.”
We deserve better. So please do not accept what we got. If you have the talent to draw, draw your own ending and your own continuation. If you can write you can write a better ending that we got.
Create your own ending. An ending that we deserve, an ending that doesn’t destroy the manga is based on, an ending that doesn’t treat it’s followers like idiots, an ending that resolves things, an ending that doesn’t abandon the bonds that were created, an ending that doesn’t teach its followers horrible messages, an ending that doesn’t destroy hope and on and on. The characters have to stay true to themselves. The events need to follow a logic that fits the story. A single flaw and the magic is gone. The story dies. And that’s what happened with what we got, the story died. Characters didn’t stay true to themselves, it didn’t follow a logic that fits the story. The magic is gone.
Hopefully you get the picture. And if you can and will write your own ending or draw your own ending send them your ending if you can, so they can see where they screwed up.
I hope that one day they’re going to admit they screwed up and deliver us a proper ending to a good story that went for 698 chapters. Oh and before you say “They can’t really do that because the ending that we got is already canon and they simply can’t erase that.” I have to point out that that’s exactly what they did with the movie. They erased the manga from existence. They did it once they can do it again.
