Sakura will reappear because these last two chapters were about Obito's final plan to commence: to become the Jinchuuriki (Hey, another parallel). Now, it's time for the world to react to his final plan. It's going to be one hell of a volume. Sakura will get into the battle soon, especially with Kages coming. So yeah, expect for some craziness.
Time to sleep. Got to wake up to make a video.Goodnight!
There shouldn't have been a recess of her involvement as a fighter in the first place. Condemning her to the back so she can heal a group of ineffectual fodder doesn't assist with attempting to portray her as the heroine. To be honest, her inactivity only makes her look like the refuse of this battle such as Team 10 and the other rookies. Sakura distinguished herself by acting as the successor of Tsunade in the Sannin trinity a few chapters previously but now with the focus having shifted to other plot points she's being discarded.
Sakura just seems to lack the overarching significance in other conflicts that Naruto and Sasuke have.

This chapter was an interesting one to say the least, I liked it even though it took me almost an hour to read it thanks to all those damn adds causing Adobe to crash on me three times and firefox quit responding on me once, I can wait till I can get a new computer.
At this point it's getting pretty funny how obvious Kishi is trying to be about NaruSaku and it's fulfillment through parallels.
Maybe some rabid NH or SS fans have been harassing Kishi and he had enough of it?
Totally off topic, but: Excuse us Mr. Toriyama, but is it okay if we borrow Goku or one of the other Z fighters to help destroy the moon so Obito can’t activate the eye of the moon plan?
Goku, or Mr. Popo will be Tobirama's summon, after all Toriyama, Tobirama, it can't just be coincidence.

Exactly. I thought that ever after the neo-sannin chapter we'll get to see Sakura involved in those major fights alongside Naruto and Sasuke.. yeah, healing wounded is important and all but there are tons of other medics, plus after Sakura summoned Katsuyu, the slug should be able to do the job herself.

Lol.I really wonder if Kishi going his way to make NS = OR into a grand thing rather than, "Btw, you and Rin are the same as Naruto and Sakura, ok, good, bye." *Obito dies* This is huge, people. HUGE!!!

Haha. Yeah, it's pretty weird how he doesn't seem to care at all. Does he have something huge up his sleeve or something? Does he just like watching the fight? What gives?Parallels and Minato's reaction to the identity of the masked man aside, is anyone else peeved by Madara's seeming indifference to his lifelong ambitions going up in flames? Ever since his return there have only been setbacks one after the other with presumed allies declining to carry out their duty, the Jubi being recreated with only a portion of its ultimate strength, and now his intention of becoming a jinchuuriki has been robbed by the child who was originally supposed to be a disposable pawn. Madara seems incapable of successfully carrying out his plans yet that doesn't bother him one bit. He's just indolently sitting out from the battle with a smug expression.
I'm beginning to think that the people who claimed that Madara was only doing this for ****s and giggles were correct. The only objective he appears to be serious about is fighting Hashirama.
He forgot him.Hiruzen was noticeably absent from the Hokage lineup when they were creating their clones. He should be capable of making several clones to join in the assault as well. What would Kishi's motive be for leaving him out?
Yeah, when I finished reading this chapter I just thought, "Where the hell is Sakura?" Honestly, I didn't expect her to show up, but not because I think she shouldn't have, it's just something I've come to expect with Kishimoto. He could have at least added in a panel of her reacting to something. Anything. She better have a role in this fight/the whole Obito situation. I know she's going to be a big part of the Sasuke ordeal, but I want her to be important outside of that, too.It has now been two chapters since Sakura made an appearance and that is alarming. Are medical duties for the mass fodder the only function she has now? The other main protagonists, Naruto and Sasuke, are in the midst of the most important battle in the entire manga but for some odd reason Sakura has apparently been ostracised to the background once again. She should be up there next to her teammates fighting against Tobi.

I disagree, there is a reason Sakura is again missing in the scheme of things. The ones who went were Naruto Sasuke and Minato. All three of them had something to do with Obito. Sakura or the others not so much.

Actually, I would expect that Obito could become the Juubi's Jinchuuriki. So could be Obito himself the boy with a great eye power that Naruto will fight against? I still have my doubys anyway...
I smell some enormous parallel hints between Team 7 and Team Minato upcoming.... Sakura is absent now but she'll have her own role in this matter. She's the Rin of the situation. Naruto will confront with Obito.
Again Naruto didn't want that Sasuke could kill Obito... His screaming to Sasuke (Waait, Sasuke!) let me believe that Naruto feels empathy towards Obito.

I like how Madara was like, "Oh boy, someday, you just can't have it your way." But hey, stuff happens. Wow. Just wow.
if i was madara and this was not the plan and lets face it he did want too betray Obito i would kitten my pants now remember he is immortal yehhh thats great and all but he is nothing compaired too this what obito has become this could also be a world of hurt for madara Obito knows that he was nothing but fodder too him:D payback is a biatch.
but lets face it this was better for the story who is the better villain some 1 who was there from the start or some 1 who was there from the start but only in the last couple of chapters. Obito FTW now man but i dont think redemption for obito anymore hes beyond thats now.
but i also think obito is dead now and an new being is created mabey an small part is left inside of that power now trye and reach that.
And the part where sasuke is called traitors right hand, FINALLY if sasuke wont get that hes an idiot.

Excluding the alleged parallel that Sakura has with Rin, the single most important motivation behind Tobi's actions, she has no relevance in the current situation, you're right. That shouldn't prevent her from being able to continue fighting against the replicas though. The other user already stated it but Katsuyu is capable of healing independently from the summoner. Why she is only staring vacantly out into the battlefield atop her summon no one knows but it's of no benefit to anyone. Currently, her actions, or lack thereof, are reminiscent of the valueless child whose character Sakura has been striving so hard to overcome since the Forest of Death. Ironically she seems complacent with resembling that child.
Try and prove that there is a reason for her absence apart from acting as a healer for the rabble.

It's sad but I'm starting to believe that it have a lot to do with her conversation with Sai, if you notice after her surprised face fallowing Hinata's action Kishimoto excluded her from the Manga, it seems that in order for Kishimoto to create more tension he likes to keep things pending on the readers mind to keep them interested.
Another thing that is bothering me about this Manga is the lack of dialog, characters barely interact, it's a complete different from the start of this Manga when character did a lot of talking this just show that Kishimoto no longer has the same passion.

So ends volume 66 next week volume 67 starts and continues this. The high point of this chapter was minato meeting obito and discovering that he did those things which was kinda heart breaking after the flashbacks too. Obito really did showcase his feelings for rin this chapter in the flashback and minato did want obito to become hokage. Guess people are confused about the end result of the chapter, did he suck the ten tails into his body? What happened to make him all scaly? Funny how madaras plan is down the drain and he just goes oh well. Sasuke is still ready to show off his dark side too. So now we have a really bad ordeal on the battlefield with obito and this is in addition too sasukes true motives and what he will do eventually. Interesting chapter, not the best but very enjoyable and this makes the battle have an interesting turn.
Also what obito meant by fellow of the traitor, it's after Sasuke attacked him and he referred to itachi.

TBH i know OR=NS but i dont think in the end Kishimoto is gonna just say that out loud, for me it would be awkward if NH will happen but seeing OR now wont make me anymore confident that NS is endgame sorry not even a little
i think Obito called himself betrayer and sasuke fellow of the betrayer he was the one who helped obito remember .

He did terrible things with the excuse 'Minato-sensei, I don't care anymore', even still calls him sensei.
Is there any good left in him?

Yes it's true those 3 had relevance to obito and why sakura is not there, but again it's not the end of the world because she does not appear, even then whether she really has gone to the background again or is doing something else offscreen, we cannot expect sakura onscreen 100% of the time. I mean she still has a big role when we come to focus on Sasuke again, as for the current situation, maybe she will take up a fighting part or not, maybe she will just be fighting jubbi clones if they are still out or be the direct remote healing support to naruto and Sasuke. But again, sakura only unleashed her power 5 chapters ago, so if anything we can really just wait and see, I mean the current Kages are coming to the battlefield, it's always possible for sakura and tsunade to fight together.
