I think I saw a tweet about her not voicing tails in the future games..,.can't remember where thou.

Recently found out that its true. Kate stopped playing Tails and Collen O'Shaughnessey (using her other last name Villard) is now taking both Tails and Charmy's roles.

I wonder why Kate wants to stop voicing Tails? Perhaps voicing Sakura is more important to her? Also reading Collen's biography she did Sora's voice on Digimon and ironically she's Ino's voice for Naruto.

Update on the show:

 

Voice Cast

A look on IMDb found that more of the supporting cast has been revealed, with Kirk Thornton and Wally Wingert (Orbot and Cubot, respectively) set to feature, and Corey Burton on board to portray Metal Sonic.

But the most interesting addition is Vincent Tong who, after searching his wiki page, appears set to replace Kirk Thornton as Shadow the Hedgehog.

Okay, guys: New character alert!

 

So, a couple of months ago, someone leaked character designs for this series. One of them strikingly resembles Marine from Sonic Rush Adventure, but instead, today, while she looks like the raccoon, she's actually a badger.

 

Introducing "Sticks" (Currently not feeling the name atm)

 

 

Sticks is new to Sonic’s circle of friends– actually new to friends in general– and as the most primal character in the Sonic universe, she is a force of nature in every way.  Sticks is wilder than the other members of Sonic’s team with unparalleled animal instincts and extremely sharp survival skills.  She’s a fearsome combatant and a tenacious hunter who’s armed with handmade weapons at all times, most notably a handmade boomerang that she keeps in tow.

 

Her wildness means that her social skills need plenty of work and she’s not the most trusting individual. Full of outrageous suspicions, Sticks’ instincts often prove to be accurate. While the concepts of sharing, compassion and friendship are foreign to her, Sticks has a good heart and a genuine desire to get closer to her new friends, particularly Amy, who helps Sticks adapt to civilization. Sticks and Amy quickly become best friends, with Sticks willing to go to extremes to protect her new pal, a quality that will play out through new Sonic Boom content. Her eccentric character adds an endless amount of humor and surprise to the Sonic team.

 

 

Other than the name, I like her design and background. She'll become BFFs with Amy, hopefully when Cream will be in this series, there will be a lot of action, adventure and good dialogue between the girls.

Anyways, I liking the WiiU version though there's alot of usage of the Enerbeam and not enough speed levels that Sonic is used to. Hopefully, most of the stuff will be polished for E3.

 

I absolutely love the combat! Sonic doing those crazy breakdancing kicks! And Eggman's fight is going to be sick!

- While the game won't have Chaos Emeralds, it is going to have Chaos Crystals. But wait, they're different! Because there are nine of them. Nine is a different number than seven, thus they're different. Also they're part of the story.
- The game will have time travel because you can't have a new series of Sonic games without time travel. At various times you'll travel to the past or present and see areas in different times.
- The underwater base level is called Ancient Template.
- Enemies will drop weapons you can use which are one-time use only. For example, there's a Freeze Rod weapon which freezes enemies.
- Collectibles will let you unlock new abilities.
- Game will probably be released in the first half of November.

Say, has anyone picked up Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric or Shattered Crystal? Just curious because it's been released in North America now. I want to check them out but I have neither a WII U or 3DS!
