At this point it's getting pretty funny how obvious Kishi is trying to be about NaruSaku and it's fulfillment through parallels.

Well, crap... this doesn't do good for the shinobi. Now that Obito is the jinchuriki of the ten tails, there's no questioning what he'll do now, but I'm sure they'll find a way to either extract the ten tails from him or hopefully Naruto's talkie no justu will persuade him to use the ten tails against Madara and if all else fails...

Anyone else notice how Kishi is once again trying to bring home the fact that Naruto shouldn't give up on Sakura since Minato brought up the same topic in regards to Obito and Rin?
 
What do you know, Minato ships both NaruSaku and ObiRin.

I didn't even think of that, but you're right! Oh, Kishi.   That's so cool. Hey, maybe something similar to that will happen with Minato and Naruto? He'll tell his son not to give up on Sakura and Naruto will be like, "Heh, never."

I'm trying to understand if Minato did the wrong thing by slashing him or altogether that they got the wrong idea that Obito was losing to Madara.

On the last page Obito doesn't seem to have the right side of his body anymore. So how is he gonna use infinite Tsukuyomi, if he doesn't even have a Sharingan anymore? 

Madara has probably an ace up his sleeve, seeing as he's still so laid back. He's also finally taken notice of Sasuke. Maybe my prediction that Madara is gonna control Sasuke will come true.

Anyway, Sasuke still doesn't listen to Naruto lol.

So Tobi is the final villain? Well right now with the power of the Jyuubi he's definitely the strongest one. I luv that idea.

That's what you get Madara-kitten for using an innocent child.

Also: I'm glad that Minato found out who attacked the Konoha 16 (17?) years ago. I hope we'll see more of him fighting, TnJ and stuff.

Sasuke was called the fellow of a traitor.. whaddayawant, it's true. Wonder if this will change his attitude or at least have some impact on him...

I dunno about you guys but for me this chapter confirmed that NS is indeed an endgame, and no matter what SS/NH moments Kishi is going to add (if he ever will) nothing's gonna change the fact that NS is canon.

Parallels and Minato's reaction to the identity of the masked man aside, is anyone else peeved by Madara's seeming indifference to his lifelong ambitions going up in flames? Ever since his return there have only been setbacks one after the other with presumed allies declining to carry out their duty, the Jubi being recreated with only a portion of its ultimate strength, and now his intention of becoming a jinchuuriki has been robbed by the child who was originally supposed to be a disposable pawn. Madara seems incapable of successfully carrying out his plans yet that doesn't bother him one bit. He's just indolently sitting out from the battle with a smug expression. 

 

I'm beginning to think that the people who claimed that Madara was only doing this for ****s and giggles were correct. The only objective he appears to be serious about is fighting Hashirama. 

 

Hiruzen was noticeably absent from the Hokage lineup when they were creating their clones. He should be capable of making several clones to join in the assault as well. What would Kishi's motive be for leaving him out? 

 

It has now been two chapters since Sakura made an appearance and that is alarming. Are medical duties for the mass fodder the only function she has now? The other main protagonists, Naruto and Sasuke, are in the midst of the most important battle in the entire manga but for some odd reason Sakura has apparently been ostracised to the background once again. She should be up there next to her teammates fighting against Tobi.

Obito is the Ten Tail Jinchuriki... Well, that was unexpected pretty much. Now the story is getting more and more interesting.

 

Minato talking to Obito about Rin is paralleled to Naruto's. No surprise. Parallels will always be there in this manga XD

 

I see some action between Madara and Obito in the upcoming chapters.

Yup, Sakura will have some action too soon. It can't be helped but her to be in this. She's going to have a role regarding Obito also.

Totally off topic, but: Excuse us Mr. Toriyama, but is it okay if we borrow Goku or one of the other Z fighters to help destroy the moon so Obito can’t activate the eye of the moon plan?
