Oh, and Seth Killian says Capcom are currently considering a system where persistent disconnecters are banned from playing regular players and can only play against each other. When their profile resets after a period of time, they can go back to playing against regular players, but can be punished again if they disconnect again. That system is in use on Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

To bring this back up, I don't know about that... one time one my end, disconnecting can happen when a storm comes and goes, depending on the weather or the internet acts very wonky.

But yeah, I get that alot in Tekken 6. I want to challenge people and they kept leaving like crazy.

Are you a Dhalsim player? I'm thinking about trying him out, so would like to hear some tips for beginners, if you have them?

Derock, the system is only for persistent disconnecters. I think they look for a higher than usual d/c percentage, rather than the occassional disconnect.

Slightly off-topic, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom just came out today, but I'm not sure about getting it as all of my online gaming is through the 360. Capcom also said they'd release a 360/PS3 version if there was enough demand. Hmm... *agonises*

Highly doubt it. I can dream of it but here's the situation, the game is 2.5D, similar to Street Fighter 4 saga (yes I'm calling it a saga ). I remembered Capcom stated that if TvC release for 360/PS3, it has to release via DLC game but they were having situations with the controls because it was only for Wii, however sequels, if there is alot of demand, will be multiplatform.

... and I have to get the game soon, I wanna play as Morrigan and Batsu!!!

I got SF4 on PS3 and I might pick up a XBOX 360 later on this year just so I can play some of you guys. But if anyone is interested in playing just let me know. Need to work some rust off my gameplay.

Seriously Smiter, Dhalsim is a upper tier character. I am not at all suited to play him, I just have always played him at a crappy level so I stuck with him lol. I watch alot of Arturo Sanchez clips, and some other Asian players that are really masters. Lesson # 1: Block block block block

I didn't really have a chance to play as Dhalsim, but I did try out Dan against Derock last Saturday (he won our session 17-9) and I actually enjoyed using him! I know Dan is low-tier, but he felt fun to use.

Capcom, you should had confirmed them earlier (but I guess they were still working on them while the Alpha characters were finished). Now I wondered about how the ages are (excude Dudley) for Ibuki and Makato, since this is about, I don't know, a year or 2 before SFIII.
