I already discussed here that you're thinking about time incorrectly. 100 chapters in the Naruverse can equal all of 1 hour in the Naruto world. For your sake and others, you should not assume # of chapters = amount of time in their world.

I don't assume that at all. I did read some of that earlier and you do have your points but I still think that we who think that Naruto has possibly moved on have our points, too. We just look at it from the writing POV, you take a look at the "in-universe" POV. I have to ask myself, why Kishi (as the writer) has not been mentioning Naruto's feelings for Sakura for a quite a while now. He did find the time to mention Hinata's feelings for Naruto and Sakura's for Sasuke. Why not throw in some bit about how Naruto loves Sakura, too? Maybe Kishi is not mentioning it so people like me can imagine that our pairing will happen. Maybe he is saving that NS plot for later. Maybe he is not mentioning Naruto's feelings for Sakura since he no longer has them. We don't know.

If we had a NaruHina moment. We also had a NaruIno, NaruKaka, NaruShika, etc moments. I hope Naruto gives Sakura some chakra. Could you imagine her punch if she had that chakra with her? There would be no more earth.

she written: "小娘" which means young girl so Mangapada was right here.

Yes, but ask yourself this: from the writing POV, why did Kishi have Hinata be the first one to hold Naruto's hand? Why make her scene the most important one, the one that lasted the longest? Why isn't it Sakura in Hinata's place? Why wasn't it Iruka or Shikamaru or Kakashi in Hinata's place? Kishi wrote Hinata to desire to hold Naruto's hand for a purpose and he did have her hold Naruto's hand for a purpose, too. Maybe that purpose is just to complete Hinata's character arc, as you all say. Or maybe it did hint at future NH canon. We are still at the same point than we were after ch 615 came out: we still don't know how Naruto feels about Hinata or about Sakura and are back to arguing about the handholding. So maybe we should let that matter rest for now and discuss other things about this new chapter. We are not going to move forward at all in this handholding thing. Only the future chapters will tell us which one of us were right.

I think those are totally valid questions. And it's completely worthwhile looking deeper and questioning why one character over another. No matter what the ship. So for me, the answer I come up with is that Kishimoto did it to ramp up tension in the story. By really giving one pairing a boost, he reinvigorates the story and interest at a point when it could become very bland. Just straightforward fighting.

Honestly, I don't think anyone really cares if Naruto redeems Sasuke or not. We all know he will. No real suspense there. No, this was inserted now, so the audience can think about the end game and wonder what their favorite characters are actually fighting for. Battle scenes slow down plot momentum. Inserting the love piece brings value to the fight. Whether you support that ship or not. So to me, it's about ramping up tension.

NH now has real legs to stand on. And by pushing forward NH, then he tacitly imples SS. So it reinvigorates the story. Nothing is decided, everything is still up in the air.

We were all waiting on tenterhooks for this chapter, right? As were the NH-ers and SS-ers, right? So then...mission accomplished. As an audience, we are now reinvested in the story.

I'm really wondering how the various fights will go down. There is Obito. Madara. And Madara really doesn't seem to care about this fight. Then we have Sasuke and he is currently traveling with yet another villain Oro. We have four villains to all be defeated one way or the other.

Back to topic, it would seem NH fans are actually upset by this chapter. I went to YouTube and I made a neutral peaceful comment that the last chapter was clearly Hinata's development. I was going to say that if Naruto shows that he still loves Sakura, it's pretty much game over, but I think my neutral feeling will be destroyed. So I made it like "Sorry, guys."

If you change the battlefield's background to a scenario in hawaii style, doens't change anything... Madara always keeping calm and careless... Dat Madara

Orochimaru imho won't be a villain....

Exactly, to me it seems he places hinata in the same place he places the other girls, like ino for example, as just friends, if it was supposed to be romantic then he should have had AT LEAST ONE romantic thought or expression, but I never saw that.

Exactly. He even commented on Ino in this chapter, if it were hinata we'd all be freaking thinking the worse (i would too, actually) but since its Ino we're not. They're all just his friends, it's Sakura he thinks of in love.

It was similar but with a different result, it was about a great guy, Sakura viewed her love as a bad one, but Ino viewed as a positive.
And she didnt view him as a bad guy different than Sakura.

Really it wasnt show Naruto handling chakra to Sakura, i think she will get heavily injured or will die(temporally).

I don't think Ino's was a positive one either.

From the translation I got (and it might be wrong) the text for Sasuke panel ended in a question. To me its the same questioning tone as Sakura's.

Yeah I gotta admit, I'm actually finding myself pretty interested in finding out where exactly they are heading.

NAruto showing feelings for Sakura again kills of NH.

and in 616 Naruto has not show any romantic intent towards hinata and never made a comment about her looks or something like that.
Hinata become a slight better character but still is only Naruto, Lee cried for Neji, and still thinking Neji is really Hinata's cousin?
even Naruto, I think Neji was more important for Naruto than Hinata on that scene, about NH i would say that he has legs if Naruto show romantic intent towards her and about the questions i'll say.

First Hinata was close to Naruto, Second Hinata was the character who got changed by Naruto's nindo so who's better to remind Naruto about his ninja way?
Sakura's ninja way i dont even know what is it, i only see her saying "I'll protect Naruto and Sasuke" but protecting someome is not a ninja way, it can come as an inspiration but no, Sakura for me is an incomplete character.

When i see Ino she's way more ahead than Sakura.
