I have always seen the whole" silver medal" thing as bullcrap. For Naruto to be consider as such shouldn't Sakura have been in a relationship with Sasuke. Well was Sasuke her boyfriend???

My only problem is that Kishi has yet to sell that Naruto isn't a second choice because from the way Sakura and Sai put it he was.

Guys I've promised this sometime ago and finally here it is. It's a bit late but I do keep my promises. I'm not like a certain writer cough Kishi cough, that promises us something and never delivers. For him it's much easier to rewrite the story than to deliver what he promised in the first place.

a friend of mine told me that a demo for Naruto Revolution was released for Xbox, some people looked at its code and there was a Team Ultimate Jutsu for Hinata and Naruto, but not for Sakura and Naruto. Now I'm not sure if that's true, so did anyone hear about this?

I don't think Naruto's a silver medal at all. I already believe at this point Sakura loves Naruto and is over Sasuke. However, I don't think that necessarily means Sakura's fully aware of everything when it comes to romance.  540 still indicated to me she thinks she still loves Sasuke, but doesn't dismiss the idea of not loving or liking Naruto. Sakura's moved past Sasuke and onto Naruto, but she needs that moment to realize it IMO.

 

The silver medal argument is always wrong because in Sakura's heart she loves Naruto the most. But even if she never realizes that, then NaruSaku would never happen because Sakura "couldn't have Sasuke." Naruto wouldn't accept being with Sakura unless he was sure she was what he wanted and wasn't forcing it. If 469 & 470 were any indication, Naruto will always reject Sakura for a relationship until he believes she loves him more than Sasuke.

 

So basically, NaruSaku will either happen as Sakura's gold medal or not at all.

Relax it's not the full deal nor the full list of ultimates, nothing is entirely confirmed or dismissed. There for all purposes could still be one with naruto and sakura or at least Kushina and sakura, so relax.

He didn't reject her because he thought he was being a silver medal he basically was asking her to cut the kitten and bring up the real reason she came there for. He didn't really reject her he just brushed off her confession.

 

After reading it again it does seem like an honest confession the problem why it looks like a lie is because we never got to see Sakura come to the realization that loves Naruto (the closest we got was 298)

I haven't heard about this. But I wouldn't be surprised if they did that. Even in one of the previous games you had cards (I think that's what they were called, I don't remember exactly, also I played the PSP version) of certain characters, and if you combine them you'll get different names. For example if you combined Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura you got Team 7; Naruto and Sakura was One Sided Love and something that pissed off a lot of fans but also made a lot of people happy, Naruto and Hinata was called Secret Lovers.

 

Anyway doesn't really matter. It's a game that has nothing to do with what the Kishi is doing.

If you mean that she knows by 631 then its a no because you see Sakura asked who Minato is after Naruto said "You are right on time Dad" witch I assume that she didn't hear that from Naruto because he said that at the same time when there was an huge explosion occurring behind them . Maybe you are thinking about something else care to explain ?     

 

@Pepsi on the contrary the way Sai & Sakura worded by that I mean everything not just that part was Naruto comes first Sasuke is last so how much Sakura loved Sasuke if Naruto's safety comes before anything else ?

Are you kidding me in here ? Him brushing it off was a rejection he didn't accepted it bc he still thought that she had feelings for him that is why he had that flashback of her "feelings" for him .

well not really IMO , you don't have to be in a relationship to be silver medal ; it could also be that she couldn't have Sasuke so she falls back on Naruto , couldn't get first prize but has to settle for second prize that's what I think they mean .

So does Sakura know that Naruto is the 4th hokages son? Because she knew in RTN but didn't even recognize his face in 631 (despite there being monument of it in the village)

 

She should know if she is even half as dense as Naruto is, since when he first arrived on the Battlefield Naruto called him Dad.

Also Naruto arrived on the Battlefield right in front of both Naruto and Sakura where they would've had a clear view of the back of his coat which has "Yondaime Hokage" written in large red Kanji, he arrived shortly before the other three Hokages, (Tobirama acctually calling him Yondaime if i remember right), and before thy tried to seal the Biju Minato told her to "Take good care of my son". Plus Gaara told her that in order to save Naruto they had to get him "His father, the Fourth Hokage".

 

So if she doesn't know with all of that she could probably be called the dumbest character in Naruto ever.

As usual people say that the only thing Naruto inherited from Minato were his looks and all of his personality comes from Kushina.

 

God forbid that Naruto actually inherits personality traits from both of his parents.

 

Obviously Naruto's energetic side (which is his main trait) comes from his mom, but time again has it been shown that his serious side comes from his dad.

Oh dont even get me started, back in 2010 with UNS2, NH fans went kitten insane thinking this meant that NH was canon, despite the whole fact they didnt think, perhaps this meant that both of them had a secret crush on another? Hell the game didnt even have Hinata confess yet it gave time for part of the big end scene being sakura hugging naruto.

 

Then came the same deal of UNS3, the same team name, but Hinata had not even a single line in the story and yet both sakura and hinata got some end mssion with naruto and despite sakuras being closer to the canon choices for the battles, NH fans again flipped and thought NH having the legend questline in the end meant something, despite the game having a filler ending.

 

Its just a posion train of thought, NH stuff barely exists in the series, yet HInata is such a marketable character, again, they can just spam out her character to do all this kitten and make her pick her nose for all they care and people would still go ohh and ahh at her. Thats just how simple minded some of the fans for her are.

 

In the upcoming game, it wont make a difference even then, I mean didnt this fanbase learn that its the manga that matters? No amount of arguing with the expanded filler waste of an episode 166 wont change this, using any other media wont change this, trying to say NH will come with Hinatas dream in the genjutsu wont help, no matter how many times they blast 615 with the hand holding in any opening, closing, book cover, or even in the game if it occurs, it makes no difference, because 615 ended, since then, Hinata has done nothing, there has not been anything critical or important concerning her, and yet we still get more NS hints and builds and people act all hostile over it, we never saw anything about naruto thinking towards hinata as more than a friend, never seen him distance himself from sakura, never get over sakura, and yet we still see sakura distrusting sasuke, having these negative SS moments, leaving us to ask constantly, how does sakura feel about sasuke and how does she feel about naruto? We are never inclined to ask how does sasuke feel about sakura (because he doesnt and 680 should have made this clear) and never about how does naruto feel about hinata (though he likes her only as a friend).

 

This fandom, the pairing fandom is given such a broken train of logic, the majority yelled 469 killed NS and that we were zombies yet look at everything that happened, 504 came saying naruto and some girl was otherwise a good hint of an end pairing, 631 came and put that on Sakura, not to mention the background of minato and kushina is very reminisent of Naruto and sakura early on, and yet those fans flipped at it cause they were wrong or "honestly suprised" and then you get this whole mess from the NH fanbase regarding parallels, either Naruto is like Kushina or Hinata was somehow like both parents despite no real canon linkage. Then 662 came and Hinata missed out on the recovery event and it was almost perfect for us, Hinata missed out and we got a NS moment, a very personal one from sakura to naruto by all means, not the CPR but the fact she wants him to become hokage, she wants him to achieve his dream, this one scene literally made it clear and otherwise shut up the people who always claim sakura cares nothing for naruto or is mean to him, she is supporting his dream, she wants him to achieve it, and yet people still act like she never changed in regards to him or still is stuck on sasuke and act like 680 wasn't the biggest signal to end SS with sasuke saying he didnt intend to save her or kakashi. The whole train of thought in this pairing fandom was broken over the past year and a half since 631 came out due to that chapter, hinata vanishing, sasuke still being a douche, naruto still loving sakura, and the release of Road to Ninja online made it a better deal that while not canon, gives you a good idea of how good a friendship naruto and sakura have, hell even kishi made the movie.

 

Its like how many more salvos of hints, inference, development, and what else does kishi need to do to just nail it into the heads of some people that SS is impossible and NH is becoming less and less likely? I mean if this battle goes on for 20 or so more chapters, the genjutsu and broken and the war ends, Sakura being there the whole time, I mean what if some view of her changes in regards to sasuke and naruto in this time span? What if she gives naruto a moment after the genjutsu is broken and the world is saved you know something unexpected like 450s hug but bigger? What if in this time we even have Obito even encourage naruto to protect the girl he likes, something he couldnt do? I mean its wishful thinking, but for gods kishi could like 631 and 663 have written things differently, let hinata come or do the cpr or have the moment but he didnt, he even locked her away for the time being. Why is sakura still around? Not for matters just being part of team 7 and its not for the fight but for something else.

 

And the worst part is: People act like kishi does this all in one week when he has the script and other chapters planned out already, at least a couple weeks ahead, maybe even months ahead, not all weeks are spent just doing the drawing and inking, they need to spend time visualizing how to make the scene play out and the events occur and yet people think its done just one week after another. This stuff is planned ahead and people act like its not. If anything kishi planned to use a Sakura to kushina deal early on when 631 was coming in sight, or at least when minato came back in edo tensei.

 

I mean Nostradomis, even your recent rant on just why the subjects of NH and SS are flawed, its nothing new, I mean I am still to this day just flabbergasted by how foolish some fans are when they make such an issue out of 631, its like if Kushina was like Hinata, wouldnt kishi have bothered to give her you know, a background like hinata being shy, insecure, no faith in her powers, her loving minato at first? Something beyond just being kidnapped by the cloud ninja as a means to say hinata and kushina are similar? Oh right none of this matters, because the real expert is Kiba, not Yamato, Sai, or especially minato who knows his wife, made commentary about the relationship between naruto and sakura. Kiba was real important to the story considering his role is just comic relief. And its just a mess, even those saying 632 is anti-NS, its just a grand failure on their part, because of his reaction? Its not that it was a joke last chapter, it was otherwise take 504 with 631 but this is too hard for fans to understand, its like its harder to solve than us really trying to achieve faster than light travel. I mean 631s GF comment is comic, but also a foreshadow and well if naruto really liked the idea of Sakura as his girlfriend, why would he joke? What sense would it even make for him to do this if he was seriously on HInata now or just to do it in front of his dead father? The NH fanbase managed to create more holes in itself than kishi did. Is it that hard to assume that if naruto still doesnt see hinata with romantic intent but he still thinks the same of sakura, even after the land of iron, is it really that hard to assume he forgave her and still loves her? Is it that impossible to think perhaps he still loves her? To NH fans and SS fans, it is.

 

But thats just who naruto is and apparently, they dont like the hero of the story simply being who he is, this involves loving sakura, the same girl from the start who came to care for him as the story went on. It didnt change over night, it was a slow process moment by moment and well she cares for naruto in some ways more than we may be expecting. Naruto sure cares for her and one rough event isnt going to make him just "no longer love her" I mean even in the golden opportunity of NH from 469 to 615, where 469 and 540 for a time made it look like NH and SS could come around, there was never anything with naruto moving closer to hinata, never anything to resolve, or say he moved on from sakura. Hell even a filler was made saying he still loved sakura and this was after 469 and well 631 gave better credibility to naruto still loving sakura. I mean even now, you dont get a moment like 663 and leave out the confirmed love interest (if it was supposed to be hinata) and make her stuck on the ground. It makes absolutely no sense for sakura to have a scene like this for hinata to be with naruto and yet sakura to only do what hinata should have done if she was intended as the love pairing in the end.

 

But its just a mess, with so much lacking in development, events left unresolved, hinata missing opportunity for development as we speak, its such a mess, with the confession still unresolved (though it will be) and the only notion of it being in 560, it has not touched upon fully, only a short notion from naruto remembering she jumped in before him in pain, that's it. And 615 hasn't rode out as well as NH fans wished, it was nejis death focused on more and more, not him with hinata. Yet Hinata has at least 4 times in this war, since 615 been Naruto, naruto, naruto, naruto, its at the point, we god damn get it and just cause she repeats it, it doesnt solve anything or bring anything forward or change anything. The whole dream is just summing up this point, yes we know she loves and dreams of being with naruto, but this doesnt hint anything because we already know it, it wasn't like 504 to 631 which started a foreshadow of naruto with some girl as kushina said and with 631, minato of all people saying sakura is like kushina, how is this so much of an issue for people to consider when there is a simple foreshadow, a simple hint, a continuation from 504, yet the same fans believe seeing the same thing in 678 which we have seen many times before somehow makes a difference, it doesn't. Its just basic reading, its like in the lord of the rings how sauron wanted his ring back, it didnt matter how many times frodo, gandalf, elrond, or whoever said this, it was something we knew saruon wanted to do, get his ring back so he could become whole again. Its the same with how the heroes wanted to break the ring, we knew they wanted to do it but how would they do it was the real deal we had to see.

 

In naruto, we know naruto wanted to be hokage but as the story played out we saw how he would become hokage. Its just the same deal with one of his other goals hoping to get sakuras love, how would he do it, well many events played out and it may just happen more than others. Hinata for naruto though, we knew the desired goal but it doesn't change the fact the story didnt play out to have a reasonable way for it too occur, because sakura changed in regards to naruto and naruto is still set on her, well what is more probable now? We saw plenty of changes for how will naruto succeed with sakura compared to the practically nothing for how would naruto turn away from sakura and then move towards hinata, this one didnt occur and yet fans still act like it will or that it did.

 

And this is why the fanbase for the pairings is messed up, because again, when the stuff hinted, even iwith the majority of the moments from NS being the biggest onscreen developed paring is ignored, these people just will be lost and are too far gone just chasing a shadow of what they really thought would come. it wont make sense and its just again, more screentime means more importance and well NS has followed this in longer pacing, development, build up, and movement from hate to friends to the best of friends, each deal has been otherwise just movement in the long process. I mean even the land of iron gave sakura the development she has now, her speech in 630 was built off the shortcomings she had in the land of iron, kishi is able to do this with her and not hinata? Yeah I find this real shocking for HInata if she really is intended to be the pairing girl with naruto, but at this point if it was, kishi has done such a bad job, she is already a token fodderized pairing character just there for the sake of being there and having loved naruto, that is it.

 

Fans can argue all they want but NS is the only one that's been used enough, been developed, paced, and seen enough and left us with enough constant questioning with how does sakura feel about naruto and why does naruto love sakura, 457 was one deal that made it clear why he didnt just confess. Its not going to just be sidelined for another pairing and its just pointless to not use it, because if NH was to be canon, why didn't kishi just focus on it in the first place instead of leaving hinata out so many times and just forsaking her? But thats the deal with this fandom, so many broken trains of thought, so much compromised logic, its insane.

 

Fans need to suck it up and move on if they dont like it, because NS has been seen, hinted, built, paced, and used to the extent well why should kishi switch to anything else at this point if he kept putting more and more on NS? Why hint it for nothing or in favor of something else? Why should we support and expect the hero, naruto to solve the issues yet expect him to give up on sakura? Thats what the fans want and expect, but its not going to be like that. Because naruto should save the world and a criminal like sasuke yet not forgive sakura or just end his love for her right there in the land of iron even knowing she did what she did cause of sai saying it was him in part and that it was to protect him, that she was thinking of his feelings? Oh wait sai is an emotionless tool compared to the rest of the cast, as the wise NH and SS fans say, disregard him. kiba is a better expert, even more than minato because we should insert realism into the story and base our answers to all this on kiba, the love expert, not use the inference of minato, sai, and yamato as to what could come ahead for the story, for the sake of the story. Knowing naruto and sakura only 20 minutes is the perfect reason to say this is all a joke or humor because its realistic, not story design for the sake of the story.

 

Ugh that just makes me want to barf, people cannot inject realism into a story, they need to let a story play out for its own sake and the view of what the author wants to do, this view is so stupid its part of the reason I believe people just really dont have a clue what they are reading.

 

But let them moan and groan over this, because the story is what it is, and NS is what is most likely. Because its just back to most screentime, development, its been paced, its given the audience time and time again reason to ask questions between how does sakura feel about naruto and why does naruto feel the way he does about her, and it just goes on, that they grew closer. And fans who are opposed to this have 2 choices, deal with it or moan and leave, because it may not be what they had intially hoped, but kishi wrote the story as he did, he chose to put in more NS stuff just as much as he chose not to use hinata as much. He had millions of ways to write the story, bring events forward and do what he did, he chose to do 631 as he did, he chose 663 as he did, he chose to make sakura stick around and not hinata in the current situation, fans cannot realize this then too bad, its just their disappointment for expecting too much or being too unrealistic for the story as it moved.

According to the chapter where he met Kushina (forgot the number) he got did facial shape from her, too. So it annoys me a bit when people edit a picture of Minato and say it's what Naruto will look like grown up. He looks a lot like Minato, but he's not a carbon copy.
