When Sasuke was talking about a threat bigger than Kaguya little did i know this gaiden would end with our heroes murdering a lot of small children.

Pathetic. People are still defending Sasuke's pardon and Orochimaru's. The entire Naruto fandom belongs in a mental institution.

Sasuke’s pardon made no sense to me. Neither did his journey of “atonement”.

He clearly leaves on his own terms.. to achieve his own (poorly explained) goals. That’s not atonement.. that’s taking a holiday..  

The worst part about it was when he refused Sakura’s request to go with him and told her something like “this is a journey of redemption for me…. my sins have nothing to do with you”.  Umm yeah they do.. He tried to kill her a few times and tried to destroy her village/kill everyone she cares about.. There is no contrition.. his apology is very far from being emotionally convincing.

His being away and alone just seems like an excuse to avoid actually facing those he hurt and to maintain his faux cool-rogue image.
