I haven't thought about this show in years. Hated how it ended on a cliffhanger and how they cancelled the Patakis spinoff. Then last week I saw this:

Apparently they want to cash in on the nostalgia of 90s kids. Only took them 12 years. I'm looking forward to it. They got the original creator, Craig Bartlett, to run the project.
What do you guys think of all of this?

Mizore Shirayuki with Tsukune Aono in Rosario + Vampire? lol
If so, at least Mizore actually became strong and doesn't take crap from others. Basically, she's not a doormat.

Quick question, has a shy girl stalking a guy ever been depicted as leading to a healthy relationship in any other anime or manga? I honestly only remember one other girl who stalked the guy she liked the same way Hinata did.

This is probably old news, but Mashima said in a recent interview that he's going to start adding more romance to FT. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing, but he's done a good job in that field in the past. When he does, I'm hoping it blends into the story well and doesn't feel tacked on. I always feel that authors who alter their stories to appease their fans tend to do a crap job.

All Star Wars movies have flaws. Actually all movies have flaws; just like all stories have flaws.
Lucas screwed up big time with the decision to film almost everything in a green or blue screen room with his latest movies. That's the major flaw the prequels have. Another problem is his choice or whoever picked some of the actors. Apart from that if you actually look at the original ones and then the prequels you'll realize they mirror each other. Or as Lucas himself said echo each other.
Actually the whole green screen/blue screen argument isn't really a valid one. The prequels actually used more practical affects than the originals. Episode I alone had more set pieces than the entire original trilogy combined. III was the only movie in the series to use more digital affects than practical. The originals also used a ton of blue screen. Scenes were enhanced using things like realistic animation and puppetry. It made sense to eventually replace these with CGI, most of the time it ended up looking better. Star Wars has always been on the cutting edge of special affects. In truth, many people often can tell the difference between what is CGI and what is real.

But like Kishi, who may have a decent plot, it's poor in execution and when you do, you leave it to someone else. The point is there's a two step process and only first step Lucas has it right. The execution is like Kishi, maybe he has a right idea, but the way it was handled was terrible. As for newest ones, while it is subjected to opinions, the difference is that sequel is considered good, but it may not be your type of good. Otherwise, we should have heard critics not liking it as well. Naruto in movies at the least has both side of negative point of view, while the sequel has critics loved as fans split. I take the latter.
This is where I disagree. I do not believe that the prequels were executed poorly. Granted there were plenty of mistakes, but most of those same mistakes were present in the originals. What you have to know about the prequels is, like the latest movie, they were initially well received. Most critics gave episode I and III the thumbs up, episode II not so much. It dragged at times and the romance was not well executed. Roger Ebert gave each film 3 1/2, 2, and 3 1/2 stars out of four, respectively. I don't remember opinions on the films going sour until a few years after their release.
Lucas kept his story consistent from beginning to end. Every episode tied together nicely. There were no lose threads. Whereas Kishi let everything fly off the handle soon after Naruto defeated Pain. Fewer things made sense. There were many lose threads and potholes. The overall outcome of the story contradicted or undid years of plot and character development. This is what the sequel has done.

Not really. He has filtered in episode 4 and others were done by another director. The real full fledge movie is episode 1. So yeah...
He wrote all of the stories for the movies. While its true others directed Empire and Jedi, they were still his stories. He even wrote drafts for episodes 7-9, expecting Disney to continue the story after they finalized the sale and he retired. He's been showing regret lately.
Lucas never let the fans influence the story, at least not when it came to important plot points. While Kishi very clearly made important changes to the plot based on who was the most popular character and what SJ and SP thought would make them the most money. Now Star Wars and Naruto are in the same boat. Both solely exist to make money and both will be milked dry over time.

There are currently many parallels between Star Wars and Naruto, but not for the reasons that you think.
Also, please don't compare Kishimoto and George Lucas. Its insulting to George Lucas. When Lucas did Star Wars it was a labor of love. He left no major plot holes or dropped subplots. He's an excellent writer and world builder. His main weaknesses was in dialogue.
Whereas the current state of the Star Wars universe is very much in the place as the Narutoverse. Beloved characters are acting out of character. The universe is left in the same place it had when the previous story ended, meaning the events of the previous stories were made pretty much pointless. I can elaborate more if anyone wishes.

Its been a while since I last commented. But I just had to. I am literally laughing my ass off at this latest interview. All of the contradictory information he's given over the last year. No intelligent human being can possibly say all of those things and expect people not to notice. Its like trying his damnedest to tell the world that he knows that the Naruto ending was terrible without outright calling his own work kitten. Either that or he has a Donald Trump level of cluelessness.
And the details. His wife being pissed that Sakura, who was modeled after her, did not end up with Naruto, who he modeled after himself. Or the fact that even a number of his own staffers were confused by the ending. The people who lived and worked closely with didn't see this kitten coming. It invalidates every argument that NH was the obvious outcome, since logic alone didn't seem to do the trick.
He doesn't have to mention any of this. He knows that. But he chooses to mention it anyway.
Well, suppose he must've left out some details about that argument with his wife. "No honey... I don't a have a thing for stalkerish women with huge jugs!"

The once mighty Kabuto now runs a freaking orphanage. And–sit down so you don't fall down from surprise–Sakura is the biological mother of Sarada. I know, right? Kishi nailed it again with that wildly plausible red herring. Totally sucked me in. I never saw this coming. Man, that guy knows how to write a manga!
Wait, wasn't that the exact same kind of twist used for Dumb and Dumber to?

Numbers do not lie. So, assuming the compilation is accurate, accounted for, and covers all the product SKU, I'll agree that it performs better than Road to Ninja (though somehow I only see RTN Limited Edition only in the list, but I digress...).
If anything, it just says that these are the trends of anime storytelling nowadays. Quality of the story is no longer becoming a priority. You can have a poor storyline, bad morale message, etc, but as long as you put in Moe character with big breast, you'll get monetary success.
Yikes, ... and I thought lolicon, ecchi and 50-shades are bad enough... ;)
Look at the link. 18,000 was the number of sales that RTN made in the first week, not the whole year.

Well, Is this enough to convince you.
Japan DVD/BD yearly sales 2013 (December 2012 - December 2013) : http://www.someanithing.com/591
Road to Ninja only had 18,890 total DVD sales.......As for BD sales, It's not shown (but it's not greater than the DVD sales)
It seems that the Last already supassed RTN's total sales in 2013 in just a week.
RTN wasn't released on DVD until May 2013. Pretty sure those were the number for first week sales, not the whole year. Meaning RTN could still top it for total sales over the year. They're pretty much tied right now.

I think what he mean, super streght use perfect chakra control. So it seem salad inherit sakura talent.
@yubei
I disagree.
All that power is part of what make naruto interesting.
sharingan only become hax when you get ms and beyond.
Kishi problem with battle is his lack of battle to fully emphasize the concept of his ninja battle.

maybe it foreshadows that he'll become a villain. A very killable villain. Slain by Menma's son when he comes from the other dimension.

I want that character erased. If Kishi made his existence a living hell I wouldn't give a kitten. So I take it Naruto missed Boruto's birthday? poor kid
