#307511 Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Posted by Pite on 06 January 2011 - 06:35 AM in Gamer Lounge

I just started replaying the PC Version of ACII, very good game indeed. I think the idea of 2012 and all the Mayan prophecies was to foreshadow the launch of the satellite. Maybe "Those Before Us" saw the future and knew that, if not prevented, the launch on that day might deem deadly and thus gave their human followers the idea of the "End of Days."

#279795 Middle School program has community seeing red

It corrupts the very basic idea of the American way of fighting. Look at our national pastimes: football, wrestling and boxing. None of them involve thin, acrobatic and strong men using refined strength to beat each other. We need BIG, burly men slamming against each other continuously till one can't use more steroids!

Please. Every one knows that learning German (Language of Karl Marx) and Russian (Lenin and Stalin) makes you a commie. Learning Chinese will only lead to wanting to shave your head and wearing a orange robe while practicing Kung Fu...

China is very far from being a free market economy, not to mention the biggest one. For the first proposition, they would need to create and enforce strong intellectual property laws to protect entrepreneurs, a strong consumer protection to prevent lead based toys or other cost cutting concoctions and a anti trust policy to prevent monopolies from emerging. Secondly they would need to more than triple their current output to match the undisputed no.1. The US.

#279791 Voltron remake

Posted by Pite on 09 June 2010 - 12:55 AM in Arts & Entertainment District

It reminds me of the times of Voltron, but most importantly I would rather see a remake of "General Daimos"... my childhood in a 30minute series about a giant robot... Good Ol' times.

Yeah you're right if Sakura does grow her hair long again she will be a perfect copy of Kushina. laugh.gif

Yeah, that would very attractive. Naruto falling for Sakura for looking like Kushina, his mom. Oedipus Complex anyone? He hit his father and will fall for his mother?

Guess what? Both Hinata and Sakura... are female like Kushina.... Big deal. Just because Kushina looks like Sakura doesn't meant diddly squat.

I just can't wait for this fight in Anime HD though!

Welcome to the mad world where Bruce Springsteen's art (The Wrestler) lost to a 15 year old with a voice modifier and an automatic lyric machine. Have fun!

Well, he assumes that everyman, no matter how mighty has been a perv( Exhibit 1:Iruka, 2:Kakashi, 3: Sandaime Hokage so on so forth).

Hachibi has a lot of self control, and maybe that's why he is able to resist it. Or he shut the door and started to hyperventilate. Who knows...

#272617 Help me... Please...

Hm... I would normally prescribe bashing your head repeatedly till you forget. But that won't be good nuff. Try lobotomy!

But seriously tho. Find someone who has no connection what so ever with your friends or may be living with the people who might know them etc. Just go to Russia and tell some random Army SpecNaz guy about it and it'll be fine.

#272329 Villains

Posted by Pite on 18 April 2010 - 05:37 PM in Uzumaki Naruto Chronicles

I think Madara, since he has been the catalyst for all the events in the recent times. However Kabotmaru might be the next big villain. It feels just like the "Naruto's Next Villain" hehe

So maybe one of the battles that build towards the climax of the storyline is the Kisame (Zetsu?) vs Naruto and Killer Bee. From every battle Naruto has emerged stronger and wiser. Maybe Kisame is to be a yet another stepping stone for Naruto. Will Samheda suck Naruto out of all of his chakras so that he has to use Kyuubi's? Or will he combine that with Sage chakra to provide balance? I mean, Kyuubi is made of pure evil and anger. Sage chakra requires perfect calm. Balance maybe?

He took it off. But the question is. Why isn't he wearing it now? Why didn't he take it back? Why didn't he wear it when he encountered Sasuke.

A non-answer.

What is "an educated push"? If such a thing were obvious or easily attainable, then bipartisanship would be incredibly easy. Actually, it is obvious to any spouting off their views. Most people think their views are educated and that everyone else is the idiot. In fact, their are a large number of posts in this that are a standing testament to that.

Without a way of determining a universal definition of what constitutes educated, your definition has no meaning, which is why I call it a non-answer.

So, I'll be more specific: What policies should the Tea Party protest? Obviously not the health care bill, because their opposition is "uneducated," right?

Look, by educated I mean people who know what in the world they are talking about. Not the "death panelists" not the "Government don't touch my Medicare" type of people. Those people don't even bother to see the fallacies of their own actions. That's is my goddamn definition.

Educated Push - People who know what in the world they are talking about. I would respect the Tea Party more if they showed more intelligent rhethoric. Unlike "Don't pull the plug on grandma" or "This is Soviet Russia!" type of spew. I would respect them if they told the truth that this health care reform's CBO number's are based upon shaky estimates and horrible accounting.

Tea Party should be protesting and the Coffee Party should be countering them but please don't let it go down to symantics and lies to push their agenda.

PS.-Educated, telling the truth. Not spewing lies.

Meaningful change - Not uneducated masses that walk around with signs that show that know nothing about whatever they are protesting ("Don't touch my Medicare" etc.). That's just harmful since they listen to fallacies such as the Palin lies on death panels.

Meaningful change is an educated push for a better world for all of us. Not distorted by politics or lies.

#267975 All Things Politics

Posted by Pite on 28 March 2010 - 05:34 PM in Ichiraku Ramen Bar

Same, I heard about them but nothing else. I really hope that they won't stoop down to the level of some Tea Partyers and won't just be there to complain without doing much. I just hope that all this political activism will lead to some meaningful debate about the current state of the US and its future. Because in the recent times there was a lack of thereof and that's harmful for democracies.

#267971 All Things Politics

Posted by Pite on 28 March 2010 - 05:03 PM in Ichiraku Ramen Bar

For me, Tea Party showed that Americans aren't just idle people glued to their televisions and ignoring the world around them. Sadly though they are not going the direction of meaningful change as it used to be back in the 60s or even during the Revolution.

I am highly disappointed with the Tea Party. Sarah Pailin? Really? That woman doesn't know what she's talking about. What the heck. European style healthcare?! Go to Europe woman and learn. Obama being a weak sauce? Really? He sent more drone made strikes against terrorists during his first year than Bush did his whole time in office. He used guns and bricks to fix the mess left over by Bush.
