Alright so here's my dilemma:

I am trying to set an avatar from a public icon place(photobucket) to be my own but when I paste the url into the box to upload it an error always occurs. What am I doing wrong?

It could be the size or the type of pic your using. They say it's suppose to by gif, png, and something else. And there's a certain size that you can use.

Why not just upload the avatar to this website?

Well its within the 120x120 pixel range and it is a png...maybe I'll just find another one to use.
