I know I haven't been vocal about any of this, but I wanted to type out my feelings of what happened in the manga here.

As a preface, In July, I told a friend of mine that I wanted Naruto to end because I felt like it was just dragging on and on. The entire ordeal just dragged on and I just wanted it to end before it got much worse. Unfortunately, it seems that somehow with the slow pacing of the entire war, they managed to rush the epilogue. Now onto my thoughts:

I want to start off with the forehead gesture. I found it interesting that Sasuke used the forehead poking gesture that Itachi used on him on Sakura. I'm probably the only one who thought that was enjoyable, but oh well.

I won't yell at Sakura for not liking Naruto nor at Naruto for moving on. That's the way the author decided to write their feelings so I'm fine with it. Bitter taste, but I can stomach it. NS not happening is not the end of the world and honestly, I won't be abandoning the ship either. I'll just consider the pairing a crack pairing and call it good.

Don't get me wrong, Sakura wanting to go with Sasuke again irked me a little because I thought she was supposed to serve a different role. When it came down to it though, I just shrugged and was like ok so apparently that's her role in this story and I am mistaken.

Overall, I didn't have as much a problem with 699 as it seems some people do. My problem comes with 700.

The thing that gets me is that it felt like there wasn't anything substantial there.

I mean please give me a NH embrace if they're the pairing. Give me something at least even if it completely reverses their character. I'm hoping the movie does something along those lines as right now, it seems like they just threw them together to have them be together. I mean if in 699, he went up and gave hinata a hug and thanked her, that would be something. Kinda thrown together, but still at least it's not nothing.

Naruto is now too busy for his kid when he's very well versed in use of the Kage Bunshin. It seemed from the conversation he's having that it sounds like this is the first time he's telling his kid that he's too busy for him. I figured it would have come up and since this isn't the first time, apparently he didn't tell him before.

As for Sasuke, I'm gonna just assume he took a break from traveling to have a kid. it seems kinda silly though that he went back to traveling. Oh well. Gonna move on since I don't know much this guy.

Sakura not having any interaction with Naruto actually pisses me off. I figured she's still be a big part of his life as one of his best friends. I'm hoping the movie rectifies this. I'm seriously hoping that happens as I'd like to see the break down of the dynamic so I can stomach the change in relationship between Naruto and Sakura.

Shino's post on the characterization of everyone was pretty good.

Other than that, I think that's about it... I'll still be around and I probably have made errors in my post but I'm just letting it out.

PS. Not burning nor giving away any of my merc since there's a ton of it and I still like the build that NS had. I never really saw the NH build up. Just seemed kinda static that Hinata loves Naruto. Good for her though.
