I wrote this on the other NaruSaku FC:

This was even better than what I thought of from the spoilers~

For one, Naruto is finally starting to think in terms of the future, not the past. I love how he thought of his conversation with Itachi, Gaara and the others and how it all comes down to one thing: WHAT HE MUST DO. What he has to do in order for Konoha's sake and Sasuke's.

My opinion on the whole Karin-Sakura crying scene still stands. That I think Sakura is crying because what she saw wasn't a mistake--that the Sasuke she knew is gone and had tried to kill her. She's crying for someone that used to be her friend and her team-mate. Karin knows the feeling because she also cares about Sasuke and didn't expect him to change this much.

As for the flashback scene, I don't necessarily believe people have to assume it's romantic in nature. Sakura is thinking of the old days; before Sasuke changed, when Team 7 was still together and then you notice that she also thinks about the night he left. It's all transitional: from that first time she crushed on him to when he left to seek power from Orochimaru.

Sakura thought she could kill Sasuke, but because of what he meant to her and because he is still someone she considers her friend--she couldn't pull through with it. I don't think Sakura's feelings are cut and dry. And I believe that if I were to be in her position, even I would find it difficult to try to kill someone I cared about, no matter how necessary it was.

I'm glad Kakashi is alive. I was sorta worried, but not that worried, because I had a feeling he'd be okay. And Naruto's entrance was awesome

I am so happy about this Team 7 reunion. Shame Sai isn't part of it though ;3;

I'm hoping that in the next chapter, there will be some Team 7 vs Sasuke battle~

Not saying we should overlook her crying or dismiss that she may still have feelings for Sasuke.

But I still think she's crying for the person she cared about as a friend, not necessarily just a romantic inclination. I think Karin can relate to that because they both cared for Sasuke--the Sasuke they knew from a long time ago, which he isn't anymore. They see what he's changed into and it hurts them. And the fact that Sasuke tried to kill both of them would have probably hurt them even more because it just makes reality that much harder.

LOL wow I haven't posted here in forever.

But anyway, I don't think people should fret about the fact that Sakura is crying. She may have had a crush on Sasuke in the past, but he was, first and foremost, her friend and team-mate. No matter how fargone Sasuke is, to Sakura or anybody, that hasn't changed.

What Kakashi said in the previous chapter about Sandaime and Oorchimaru--that even when Orochimaru became what he was, the Third still continued to love him. And it hasn't got anything to do with romantic implications (otherwise that'd be totally messed up lol), just the fact that Orochimaru was Sandaime's student, a friend--someone he cared about.

It's the same thing with Kakashi and Sakura. No matter how much they both care for Sasuke, what he is now will never change. They can't let other people suffer any longer--they have to do what's right and that's stopping Sasuke. So Sakura isn't crying because she's "omgg soo in lub with Sasuke"... no... she's crying because when it comes down to it, she has to kill a former friend.

Well, that's my two cents on it xD

Other than that, I loved this chapter. I sorta wish Sakura did more though. But hopefully, she'll be part of the Team 7 battle that's probably coming up in the next chapter. I doubt this is the final battle though, but I would like to see Sakura kick some major ass

I am not that surprised that Karin is dead

At least there's Sakura! I figured Sai would try to stop her and Sakura would attempt to get passed him by the use of force.

Definitely looking forward to see how this is gonna go. A part of me wants Sai to stop her and another part of me wants to see Sakura fight Sasuke--or at least see what she plans to do against him.
