I'm currently re-reading the Wheel of Time series by the late Robert Jordan. It's an incredibly complex work and so intricately detailed. It's also not for the faint hearted. Each book is more than 300,000 words and there are eleven of them out so far, with a twelfth to come next year. It's an old favourite.
I hate to tell you, but that won't work. Desaix (the author) is VERY infrequent. We MIGHT see new chapters in July, but I WOULDN'T hold my breath, if I were you. I've been watching this story for 2 years now, so I know. Just try to relax and go read Team 8 by S'TarKan on Fanfiction. It's a great story (it's a NaruHina) and it should tide you over untile Desaix comes back. Or you could also read The Person I Admire by Gadalla Rune or A Sad Life Deserves More by Zendura.
I have read Team 8, as well as The Person I Admire, they're both excellent entertainment. I haven't tried the third one, but I'll certainly give it a try when I have time. Thanks for the recommendations!
It's extremely hard to find well written fanfiction of a decent length (meaning 100,000 words and above). I've come across a few however. One I recommend is Naruto Fuujinroku by Daneel Rush -Koushi-. Like Training for the Job, it deviates from the regular Naruto plot quite substantially, but the story is excellent - which is rare. I tend to automatically bypass most stories around as they seem far too generic. I also tend to ignore stories that have typos in their summaries. Hrm!
desaix: A little dispirited that you're not allowed to post, but at the same time incredibly heartened that you're still working on the story! Thanks for keeping at it.
Just here to give my opinion. In my eyes, I believe it is the best work of Naruto fiction I have ever read, bar none. The storyline is so incredibly unique and invigorating, that I've twice found myself pulling all-nighters when I couldn't stop reading this story. I've also re-read it several times.
I cannot stand waiting for updates. Every time I check FanFiction.Net in my bookmarks - almost daily I wish to say - I hope to find an update to this story.
I realise that I'm in no place to ask you for more chapters, considering I know next to nothing of your work/family/life commitments. But I however, am a very selfish person when it comes to my literacy needs. This story is a feast for the mind and far too good to be left alone and abandoned.
