I had the idea a few days ago, and started writing bit by bit. Finally I had spare time today and decided to sit down and post the first chapter - so I could think about where I'd like to go and see what people thought of the general idea. I'm not quite sure I've ever read a fic that did something quite like this, and I foresee it being quite challenging.
So let me know what you think. It is pure NaruSaku

Mind of Others - Advice perhaps?

Greetings,
I got sucked into Naruto fan fiction over the summer, and I was eventually drawn to this forum and community. While I have not posted, I have kept up with most of the naru/saku goodness kept within. My OTP is easily Naru/Saku - I agree that they are made for each other. I also happen to have a natural attraction to Naru/Ino. I think it's just how I find their personallities mesh - and the interesting scenarios. Finally, liking both those pairings, I suppose it's no stretch to say I also happen to like NaruSakuIno.
Now, I'm an inexperienced writer - having never had much guidance or experience in the creative/fiction department especially. Most of my college writing involved engineering and more technical documents.
That said, I finally said "oh what the hell" and have attempted to put my own ideas to paper, so to speak. It is pretty focused on Ino especially at this point (she has become one of my favorite characters up there with Sakura).
Mind of Others (Title sucks I know)
While it isn't much of a romance (yet anyway - I'm not sure how deep I plan to go in that direction, depends on ideas and whether I think I can pull it off), I do plan to involve some sort of NaruSakuIno goodness.
I'm not particularly confident with my dialogue or descriptions (and I'm pretty sure my action sucked
). I would be appreciative for pointers on improving my fiction in general, and perhaps a few ideas I could perhaps incorporate in my long term goals.
While I am not quite out of tentative ideas for this fic (mostly longterm), the writing is becoming trickier with each progressive chapter and my idea pool is starting to run thin. Curse my short attention span and full time job - my recent brainstorming sessions have come up short.
If you do have any comments (even if it's to tell me I should quit while I'm ahead
) thanks in advance!
