Uzumaki Naruto Knight of Konoha

Okay, I had a brillant idea to do a story that took place after Shippuuden. A longer time skip than what the anime and manga used in the original series, approximately five years. It is going to be a two, maybe three arc story. I have the ideas for the second but the first arc is where I need help. I have created a brand new character that is a lone survivor of a village that was massacred. All he has left is his knowledge of taijutsu, a family heirloom, the family katana, with a big secret. Four corrupted enemies given chakra based on the four guardian beasts, Genbu, Suzaku, Seiryu, and Byakko. The entire cast will be there except for a couple of people. Sasuke for one and Jiraiya, who died.

What I need advice for:

1. possible ideas for henchmen for the enemies, living or undead? (the whole undead thing was mine.)
2. Should I use flames for my survivor's taijutsu and sword skills?
3. I decided to put a dragon-like spirit in the sword. I thought it to be the secret on the sword's mystery. Got anything better?
