man the sk fandom has got it so bad. almost makes me want to cry for them.

From what I've seen, most in the SK fandom have moved on towards working on fanworks and just being grateful that Kishi ignored Karin rather than mess with her character further, though of course there are those who are taking it worse than others and I truly hope that they feel better soon.

Honestly as the months begin to go by, it does become clearer and clearer to me that this series just isn't worth crying over and being so emotionally invested in anymore.  I'll always remember and treasure the good memories and good times, and I probably won't ever think of the ending as anything more than a messy fail, but all good things do come to an end, it's just too bad that Naruto had such a spectacularly bad one but life does go on and I still believe there are good days ahead for NS (and SK) shippers as long as we let go of the emotional attachment to canon.

If NS does become canon, then it would make some sense for the movie to have some focus on Hinata and how she would change and react to that fact, even if just for fanservice for all the NH fans so that they too could come to terms with it. I keep trying to play devil's advocate and trying to see how a relationship between Naruto and Hinata could play out in a way that actually makes sense in the context of what we have seen in the manga so far but I just can't. 

 Hello! First-time poster here, but there's just so many thoughts that I needed to let out in a safe place   Maybe I'm being overly optimistic, but what if Naruto and Sakura are in fact together in this movie and that is why Hinata feels so bad about doing nothing but watching the whole time, so she decides to give Naruto the scarf as a way to get closure for her feelings, but she asks Sakura for permission first, and that is why Sakura is shown reassuring her, since Sakura would know that Hinata wouldn't have bad intentions or try to steal Naruto away from her.  Just an idea...
