As much as i dislike both NH and SS, Kishi always focused on SS and Sakura's feelings, NH was hardly ever addressed, and when it was (once every 100 chapters or so) Hinata's side is only addressed, Naruto's feelings was never mentioned, that's the biggest reason why I hate the pairing, him being the MC his romance is written poorly, ffs even SS had a resolve in 699 when Sasuke had a 180, NH has to relay on the movie, I literally can't understand Kishi.....

I can't believe you guys are criticising his entire work based on his choice of pairings, we may not like it, but the romance bit is just a sub plot nothing more, I think Kishi is a great writer, who made millions of people his fan, based on Naruto

I don't think she will fall out of love just because of a genjutsu, she would probably wake up and Kakashi will be like "Don't worry it was jut a genjutsu to stop you from following them" and then she will probably think he cares and what not, her falling for Naruto is over, she had 690 chapters to do so

that's really suspicious... Especially why we know that Naruto wants to save Sasuke non because for that POL, but for his own will. So why need to pull out this POL?

He mentioned POAL because Kakashi wasn't there when Sakura pleaded to bring back Sasuke, Naruto witnessed that Kakashi cares for Sakura and her crazy feelings, Kakashi himself was emotionally affected, Naruto just wanted to calm down the situation

Past tense or present tense still doesn't matter. This chapter was nothing g more than a wake up call for Sakura (why the hell Kishi has dragged it out this long is beyond me, he should have given her this a long ass time ago), and there's plenty of road to go with NS. For instance that bench scene. Either she experiences something in the genjutsu that makes her question why she "fell in love" with Sasuke, bringing is back to that, or Hagoromo or Kakashi ask her, and she answers. Wasn't Kakashi watching them that whole time during when they first met up? If that's when she "fell in love" with Sasuke, and Kakashi saw that, and knew it was Naruto (which he most likely did), then he'll probably end up telling her that was Naruto, or Hagoromo will show her one of Naruto's memories, since the dude was inside Naruto's skull for a while, and has been watching him his whole life. And then Sakura has a "wtf" moment, runs off to vote, and there's the OVA scene.

Nah you don't get it she didn't fall in love with Sasuke for that compliment, she liked him way back in the academy. And for her to fall in love with Sasuke and continue to do so because of that comment would be truly disgusting. Plus why didn't she never bring it up in flashbacks? She remembers other scenes with Sasuke but never the comment. Don't cling to false hope, she loved Sasuke when he tired to kill her, the genjutsu won't change anything and both Hagoromo and apparent love genius Kakashi defended her ridiculous love.

I pretty much gave up too, even Kakashi defended her love!! I'm going to wait for Viz but regardless she confessed right in front of Naruto in his BIRTHDAY! Sad really
