could we stop comparing Naruto to Harry Potter? It's just they're two different series, genres, themes, etc.

Loooks like I came in late oh well, I told you guys what was gonna go down back at 698. But simply put you guys puts your great expectations in the wrong place in the wrong character. Basically these pairings were cannon since day one, you just had to take off your anti sasuke bias glasses and hinata bashing goggles off.

 

Giving crap to Kishimoto for making this story 15 years ahead of time with direct statements of having a set course conclusion is why the pairings we have are here. Though I di agree SS seemed out there. And there was no prior NaruHina development before the Pain scene leading up to the War. But in the end, everyone achieved their satisfying dream and goals. Sasuke restored his clan with his own family and is free of hatred and revenge yet reborn with his brothers will to live on and care for his new family, Sakura saved by proxy of her perserverance Naruto and Sasuke, helped Naruto achieve his and hers goals of bringing back Sasuke from darkness and has married her destined man and desired one, Naruto became Hokage, saved the world, is acknowledged by every being in his verse, fulfilled his goal of saving Sasuke and has found love and a girl like her mom(theres no specific indication Hina chan had to be just like Kushina in fiery rage tsundere mode she might have meant her heart and unconditional love and care), and Hinata even though less developed than the other three progress beyong expectations, honored her cousins branch by learning his signature move, progressed her clans techniques and indicatively mastered them, has beaten her shy and conflicted demons, and last but not least fulfilled her biggest goal of being acknowledged and yearned for by Naruto which in the end has her happily marrying her deep loved one and has two kids all the while sharing her existence with her family and her fallen clans men. 

 

I say it was better than D graymans and Reborns endings.

I'll have you know that I was never anti-Sasuke nor did I bash hinata for liking Naruto. I was rooting for the main character and put my money on him. What's weird about that??? So please do not start with your "I told you sos" a lot of us are already dealing with that on the net, we don't need it here

I'll probably watch the movie, just to because I do want some kind of closure...I don't feeling confused and scrambling through different theories, trying to convince myself that what has happened is a conspiracy or sick prank.

Personally, I wanted to see Sasuke die. It would've been my ideal ending. He dies after helping Naruto save everyone; a cool redemption, imo. But! Obviously all we can say now is what could've/should've been... Naruto and Sakura will forever be my first real pairing (and Naruto my first anime/manga), and it's sad to say I lost. I will remember this if I ever get back out there in the manga world - don't ship... It will break your heart because you care a lot more than you thought you would.

D: no...my Emo-Flipflopping-Saucy-kun! I'm glad he didn't die. I honestly think he wouldn't have cared if Sakura and Naruto hooked up. I would have been content with him being single, dating Karin, or...well, keep Naruto company every now and then if you know what I mean.   

But awww, it's your first anime? :( This is the first time I guess I got involved in a ship war. Usually ?I'm like, "This is what I like, this is what you like, I respect you, you respect me". This whole competing thing was exciting, but stressful. I probably lost years off my life just waiting for the chapter releases. LOL. But yeah, no worries, it happens! You'll have more ships! More anime with better writers!
