The thing I hate most about this ending is the way Naruto was shown as the Hokage. Wasn't this manga about Naruto becoming the greatest Hokage ever? Instead he is shown to be a Hokage where none of the people look happy, where skyscrapers and technology look more important than ninja tools. Its like a joke, its like the mangaka is mocking the life long dream of his MC.

Even worse part is my Naruto seems to have lost his charm, his smile, his energy and enthusiasm in life. It kills me to see my favorite character this way.

Sakura already gave an "honest " confession by kishi's own words.Naruto proceeded to call her a liar. he done f**cked up and further goofed by not confessing, so yes his unhappiness is his own damn fault

Kishi pulled those words out of his butt. Or maybe then he meant it but later changed his mind. If that confession was honest, why did Sakura still love Sasuke in 693 and 699 ? She loved two guys at once did she? Kishi said one thing and did the complete opposite. By making her not even talk to Naruto and instead fawning over Sasuke, he killed her character development. It gave the horrible impression that Sakura was simply using Naruto the whole time.

Sad that this is truly what happened in the end.
He gave up.

This is a joke right? Sakura was busy fangirling over the cool and mysterious jerk while completely ignoring Naruto. The poor guy had to watch her pathetic behavior.

After reading many of the comments on this thread I Will never be making fun of the fickleness of NH/SS fans. There are many such people in our fandom too. I am shocked seeing how insecure and how little faith few have in NS.

There are many who do not like Naruto's new design. The short hair and the big headband are reasons that are given.

I might be in the minority but I'm gonna go ahead and say it.  I really prefer the second one when compared to the first. 
 
Kishimoto has given Naruto a very mature look. There is no more a boyish immature look ab
out Naruto. When I see this sketch it immediately strikes me that I'm looking at a leader, fighter and a Hero. Yet it still manages to make Naruto cute, hawt and charming at the same time. I really love this new look of our favorite Hero.
