Honestly, If I were running things. Boruto would be canceled, declared "Not canon" (not that it ever was since Kishimotto doesn't even write it), Kshi's editor and all the other NaruHin/SasuSaku employees would be fired, and Kishimotto would be green lit to do with the franchise as he pleased.

My only wish is that the full version gets restored soon. Even if it doesn't, as far as I'm concerned, this is the CANON version of the movie.

I would add "NaruSaku as the end paring" and "give the entire fandom a public apology for Boruto AND the "The Last" movie"... But we don't even know if GETTING a reboot anyway.

Also, maybe use more of Kishimotto's ideas? Like letting team seven go out on more ninja missions before the Chunin exams for the world building we didn't get? or having more animal characters for a nod to the idea that the series was originally be about JUST Naruto working with a team of animals? Few other things too, but none I can think of off the top of my head. Sakura should still be Naruto's final girl either way though.
