#991749 The Great Naruto Discussion Thread

Posted by Nostradamus on 17 October 2026 - 05:23 AM

Ah they have leaks for the Naruto Live Action.

new-details-about-the-live-action-naruto

There is nothing more blatant of a lie in Hollywood. Than the phrase, "Faithful to the Source Material."

From what I understand its going to be an "adaptation" of the Land Of Waves Arc. Let's be honest. That is the only really adaptable arc in the manga.

Well, they are going with SS. Sakura is going to be a rich girl boss, Naruto is going to be a nerd, and Sasuke probably going to be the cool guy that loves her. They are 18. Besides the Sasuke thing they actually swapped Naruto and Sakura backstories. Granted you are not allowed to kill the mom in a Hollywood movie. It offends the primary target audience of Liberal Middle Age White Woman in Hollywood.

They will likely keep Naruto crying over Sasuke's body and him flipping out to make them queer coded. But If Kakashi is not there Sakura is going to be soloing Zabuza.

This is going to do...wonders isn't it. Mind you, "Sakura was apparently so hated in the West Kishimoto. That they decided she needed to be the main character of the movie." The Irony.

Reminder that this has taken over 12 years to make at this point. And it is likely going to be a complete mess and likely bomb.

I love how it starts with "It's very faithful to the source material" then proceeds to describe all the ways it's not faithful at all to the source material. lol

This is worse than the Doomsday leaks.

#991748 After 10 years, Naruto is officially getting a revival in 2027

Posted by Nostradamus on 17 October 2026 - 05:15 AM

Oh boy. Here we go again.

So we're getting a "new" ending/extra stuff added to it. I don't even know where to start with this one.

So apparently we're getting the Naruto vs Sasuke fight that Sasuke talked about at the end of the manga. Well no thank you.

I can't believe after all these years they haven't learned a thing. Adding extra stuff to the original crap ending or modifying certain things but keeping the same ending is not what any of the fans asked for or wanted.

This doesn't show them recognizing that they messed up and are now trying to fix it, this is just them doubling down. Basically giving the middle finger to the fans. Which in turn will get the same treatment from the fans.

This is not going to work for them since all they're doing is adding extra bits to the mess and calling it a day.

We need a true redo of the ending chapters. They have to pick a moment from the manga let's say chapter 670 (don't remember what exactly was going on in those chapters) but let's say this one and declare that everything that originally happened back then no longer exists. They have to set a cutout point and declare that everything past this chapter no longer exists. It's no longer canon. Should not be taken in consideration at all. It's gone. It got erased from canon existence. It exists in what was done back then, but it's no longer part of Naruto, of the story. It was a mistake of the past. One we need to move on from it to build a better future.

I say this because we all know that Naruto has many problems and let's be realistic a true re-write of the manga will never happen and it's not really feasible. So what can you do is deliver a new ending and continue from the new ending. And with the ending, you can't just redo a chapter and problem solved. You have to go back a bit, not much, but just a little bit to give yourself something to work with.

What I would've done and this is something I just came up as I was writing this message.

Is pick the moment after Madara does his infinite tsukuyomi and redo those moments. Have Naruto and Sasuke struggle to defeat Madara, don't resurrect Kaguya, with help from Obito, Kakashi, Sakura they manage to defeat Madara (or do they), undo the infinite tsukuyomi, then Sasuke retreats and warns Naruto to be ready for their final showdown. A battle to determine the true way of the ninja world. And one of them will have to die.

We see Naruto and the rest back in Konoha; Sakura and Naruto have a proper talk about everything, she opens up about the fact that she almost lost him in the war and doesn't to lose him, that he was dying in her arms while she was pumping his heart, she opens up to the real meaning behind her confession to him, that she grew to care about him way more than she thought she ever will, that the younger self was infatuated with Sasuke because all the other girls were as well, but over time she realized that is was just a childhood crush and the one she fell for was right next to her. This is also where it's finally revealed that Naruto was the one from the bench that day. Thus NaruSaku becomes canon as it was suppose to be from the very beginning.

Hinata gets her closure as well because she realizes that she never was in love with Naruto, but his never giving up attitude which helped her grow.

And we get to the final battle Naruto vs Sasuke. The battle is decently long, not like it was originally, it's not rushed, it's well done, good dialogue, etc.

And here we get a twist. Madara returns. It's revealed that in the fight against Naruto and Sasuke; he couldn't beat them all, so he used Izanagi like he did in his fight against Hashirama. He realized that he would've lost against them so he decided to retreat and allow Naruto and Sasuke to weak each other out or even take each other out and then he (Madara) springs into action as the true victor.

Madara goes for Sasuke, and Naruto jumps in the way saving Sasuke, but he himself (Naruto) gets badly injured. And because of Naruto's words (Talk-no-Jutsu) to Sasuke during their battle and his action; Sasuke realizes that his way of ninja is wrong and does one final act that saves Naruto's life from Madara's attack. A callback to when he stepped in from of Haku's attack.

I came up with this as I was writing. I'm sure given the right amount of time they can come up with something much better and better organized and something impactful.

But as it is from the news that surfaced, it's going to suck big time for them. Since it's really just a retelling of the ending with some extra bits added on top of it. Meaning not addressing the issues at all. Doubling down.

This is not going to win anyone back. This is just fuel on the dumpster fire. The trash is still there on fire, it's just more trash and more fire on top.

No thank you. I have no interest in this at all. They can shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

#991652 The forum is back May 2026

Posted by Nostradamus on 07 May 2026 - 05:04 PM

As you can see the forum is back online again. It's been down for months at this point.

First of all I want to say thank you to whomever brought it back. Even if let's be honest here, this place has been quite dead for some time.

This is something that was to be expected since Naruto ended years ago, we've talked about loads of things, we also have our own lives. So this place is not as alive as it once was.

Secondly I've seen that the domain expired and a few days ago it was up for auction.

Honestly I wanted to buy it when I saw that, but the thing is, I wasn't sure what will happen and I didn't want to screw things up.

As far as my knowledge about websites goes is that the domain and the database are separate things.

So getting just the domain wouldn't bring the forum up. If anyone knows how that works or has the correct information, please tell me.

Now because I thought this place would go on forever or at least a very long time, I don't have any connections with the members outside this forum. I mean other forms of contacting the people here.

I've established some only after the forum went down and it was quite a pain since what I was doing was searching on google for the names of the usernames that you guys had. And that was based on my memory.

Now I'm sure some of you noticed for over a year that the website has had some loading problems.

Either it loads really slowly or not at all. It needs quite a few reloads until it works.

I saw that as a sign of the website dying. And what I wanted to do is create a thread here for people to share their methods of contacting outside of the forum. If they want to of course.

Now because I'm an idiot and like I've said above I thought this place will go on forever, I've decided to do it tomorrow, and when tomorrow came I said to myself I will do it tomorrow and when tomorrow came I said I'll do it tomorrow.... and then the forum went completely down and it was over.

In order to not screw it up again. I will do it now.

Here's how I'm thinking this can work.

I'm thinking of opening up a new private message and inviting anyone who wants join.

In this private message people can share their method of contact.

Discord account, e-mail, phone/whatsapp number, facebook, instagram, other messaging programs, etc.

Now the reason I say private message is because I assume not everyone wants their accounts to be public to anyone who can access the forum (remember anyone can read the forum no account needed). Plus you have to understand that if you join, your information will be available to someone you may not want to have contact with. I don't know what you want.

So tell me what you think? Obviously I'll probably get no replies or one reply since people saw that the forum has been dead for months and most likely said to themselves that will stay dead for good this time.

And of course you are free to join or not join. No one is obligating anyone to share their accounts if they don't want to.

I still bet they'll revisit the series again. For nostalgia-sake and some extra $$$.

If they did a really good mini series for an anniversary, old school fans would love it! I'm still betting that they'll cash in on the nostalgia at some point.

At one point they will because Naruto became a brand. It transcended beyond just being a manga. It's a brand and they will use that.

The question now is when? And also will they learn their lesson? There would be no point in making something new if they just do the same thing.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

Is this place dead?

Honestly pretty much, yes.

I mean in all honestly it was to be expected. Naruto ended what 10 years ago, 15 years ago, I don't even remember, nor do I care enough to look it up.

We've talked about pretty much every single thing we could've. Once in a while some troll signs up and tries to do some damage, but usually he or she is quickly dealt with.

Burrito is just rubbish that none of us are interested. I do have massive respect for Bail o' Lies for destroying his brain cells reading it and posting a summary of what happened. Once in a while I read a summary from him and immediately after I finish I go for 2 tons of vodka in order to kill all my brain cells that stored any information about what I just read because Jesus Christ that thing is absolute dog crap.

Plus we all have our lives and the truth is we've gotten older and with age also came certain moments in our lives that affected us and made us look differently towards a fictional piece of entertainment. We've lost that passion that we once had or at least I did, I used to like writing walls of text thinking about every single detail I could in that moment, making sure nothing can be debunked, having all the right counter arguments to absolutely destroy anything and anyone, thinking of every single thing that could be said, etc., and now? Now I'm like whatever.

That passion at least for me is gone. For example I do have to write something completely separate from Naruto, but I still haven't started yet. This was something I wanted to write for about 2 years at this point. I wrote some bullet points of what I want to say, but no more than that.

I still maintain my position that one day we will get a Naruto do-over of the ending. I don't know when. I don't even know if we would care or if any of us would be alive by then. It's a truth we have to accept.

I do think that after Toriyama's death; Kishimoto did some internal reflections and maybe looked at himself differently because when Toriyama died a whole world was devastated by his departure. I even cried even though I have never meet the man, nor did I have any emotional attachment to Dragon Ball like I did with Naruto. But his death affected me, something that I'm sorry to say won't affect me if I hear Kishimoto dies.

Kishimoto's legacy will not be known fondly like Toriyama's.

What does Kishimoto have to show for? A manga that ran for 15 years then at the very end destroyed itself and all the positive messages it tried to tell its readers. That's it.

An abomination of a continuation that no one asked for or wants. Interviews of insulting the paying customers by telling them, they read it wrong and contradictions.

I think in a way I hope that it affected him enough to rethink what he did or allowed to be done because even at this point I still have no idea who was really responsible for the mess that came.

I hope he realizes this and does something to fix it. Maybe he won't do it for us, but for his own memory.

New video showing everything wrong with sasusaku https://youtu.be/xXt...?feature=shared

The last part with NS is good. Talking about the confession. He's right that scene was a set-up for moment later on.

A moment that never came, and we all know why.

Rumor: Lionsgate’s Live-Action Naruto Film Is “A Complete Disaster” With Producers Not Knowing “Anything About The IP”

Guess Kishimoto trusted Hollywood, he is a fan of Hollywood movies, and didn't keep an eye on it like Oda. Problem is most Hollywood hates Japanese entertainment and blame it for them losing viewers. Since they are not going to self reflect.

That would not surprise me at all, I've seen interviews with writers for the Disney/Marvel shows that happened after Endgame, and one of the requirements for getting the job was to know nothing about the source material.

And to those who watched those shows you saw how badly they were.

Hollywood in the last couple of years hired activists instead of people who know how to do the job. Obviously not the whole of Hollywood.

If the movie does see the light of day, I have zero hope for it being even decent, not to mention good.

It's a problem old as time, that people can't take any responsibility for their own screw-ups. What's worse with Hollywood is that they even went as far as attacking the fans.
