The easiest solution would also be the longest and that would be to suggest that you wait until the volume comes out and read it in a bookstore, we're trusting translators online and yet we aren't getting the full thing from anyone, yet it interprets the same. Hell, the link you gave has one translation saying she said, I love him. However the spanish ones translate into the ones by mangastream. Personally I wouldn't know unless you have someone that reads and writes in fluent Japanese.

You can argue about who makes the words but the picture still stands out, Sakura has feelings left, you don't need words to go with the pictures to an extent for that. This who everyone is against NS thing is not going to make us any better, if a super NS chapter comes out then the SS people say it was made by NS lovers, but we'd say hey it's obvious so it must be accurate. Problem is for them and translators, if it's leaning towards NS then the writing will have to connect or something is not going to add up when they both don't love each other and then kiss.

This is where the arguement begins. Overstating or understating, plus dramatic undertones increase the viewership to your sites. Mangastream does ask for viewers to donate to their site.

mangastream was correct on that page, but sleepyfans fits the context of the next page best with their I will kill sasuke. The next page Sakura's thoughts are: "Kakugo.... kittena hazu nano ni..." which comes out as roughly- "prepared... should be able to..."

I have a feeling when Viz does the official English translation it will come closer to Sleepyfans than Hisshou's, with probably a slighty different wording. They focus on what they see as the context rather than a straight translation. (Which is a long standing issue in doing translations from Japanese to English that not just manga fans argue about.)

Sleepyfans always drops the -chan, -kun, -san, etc.

I think mangastream is much better with translations though, and prefer the suffix to be added.

It really a matter of a translators perspective on the translation. I'm
not going to blame one trans group of supporting a particular fandom but I do think they may alter some of the words to better fit in English or their own perspective .

I say go for Binktopia, who I believe is collaborating with MangaStream now for the past couple of weeks releases. I always thought Binktopia tend to be more accurate and the scans are look much better. Though I do tend to read both versions if I can get a chance or remember.

I think both have some issues, One of my annoyances with mangastream is they tend to overplay the curse words- to the point of sometime turning words that aren't anywhere near a curse word into one, or turning a milder curse word into a harsher one.

QUOTE
This is essentially correct. The particles を and が are key the elements in determining the context in which Sakura's statement was in regards to - and in this case, Sakura's statement is loosely conveyed as a "I will _(insert verb)_Sasuke-kun", just as Taichikun had put it.

Also, clarification as far as Sakura's other quotes:

こんな事。。。ナルトに言える訳ない! 。。。。。。私が。。。全部うまくやんなきゃ。。。!
(Loose translation: I can't tell Naruto ... about this! ...... I'll... carry it all myself...!)

覚悟を決めなきゃ。。。!!
(Loose translation: I have to prepare...!!)

Additional note: The 訳 kanji in the above quote translates to "reason", which could essentially mean as well that Sakura doesn't want to tell Naruto of her reasoning behind her actions - obviously with the intent of protecting him.

soo sleepyfans is more accurate

*shrugs* I read which ever one comes out first, I don't really care if it accurate as long as it's close because when the manga volume comes out in English I'll buy it anyways ^^ lol when I do I can tell you what it says I guess if you still don't know by then, I've been hankering to buy volume 46 but they were sadly out *sigh* oh well, I'll go check Barnes & Nobles (I love that store)

I read them both, and then just use the middle ground between the both of them. One is a more strict literal translation. The other is a more liberal 'this phrase fits their action/expression better' translation.

So the real thing is probably somewhere down the middle.
