Bored. Tired of Sasuke manga. Want more scenes with the character who the series is named after, kthx. I know that Sasuke needs to be built up so Naruto can completely dismantle him later, but come on. Sasuke gets more 'hey look at my cool moves' scenes than Naruto.

While it speaks well for Naruto to be able to use his... two... moves in unique and awesome ways....

TWO TECHNIQUES. I say two, because he has Kage Bunshin... and Rasengan. Rasenshuriken is just a built up Rasengan. Plus he can throw it now. Ooooohhhhh. Sage mode doesn't count, because it's not a technique... and he's done nothing with it other than make his old techniques 'stronger', punch harder, and detect chakra a little better.

*twirls finger* Woohoo. Pardon me if I don't start a party.

Maybe if he uses sage mode to control Kyuubi, it would have a little more worth...

I actually think I can accurately predict the course of this fight somewhat. given the style and themes Kishimoto-sensei espouces and the history of his fights to date.

Sasuke will be pushed to his limits by Danzo inspite of Karins help. the fight will progress with Danzo progressively pulling out more and more powerful techniques including possibly as HAK said a byakugan and/or other bloodline limits.

at the conclusion of the fight Danzo will die. But he will not die at Sasukes hands. He will instead more than likely be consumed by his own lust for power. literally eaten alive by the powers hes stolen.

when he dies though he will leave Sasuke stuck thinking about what he did and what itachis Sacrafice was all about. In the end he will stay true to his goal which was making Konoha strong.

Sasuke will again in the tradition of his past fights fail to win the battle. he will only survive the fight.

this may be used by Madara to psychologically reinforce Sasukes weakness and perhaps push him to take his brothers eyes.

I do not believe that Sasuke will do so. It will be one of Sasukes trulyl independent choices.

the wildcards in this battle.

Karin.

if Karin gets further involved or is in some fashion threatned then Sasuke will grow more powerful. he has allready shown once a protectivenes over her during the Killerbee fight.

However even if he does save Karin and force Danzo into a tight corner he wont win the overall battle. He will merely force a metaphorical draw. Danzo will still more than likely fall to his own power.

Sakura and company.

It is most logical to assume given the history of prior fights that Sasuke will win the fight, though he will pay a price and lose the over all battle. this is where Sakura and company may show up and if they do with sasuke in a weakend state we will have an epic confrontation ensue.

Madara.

Madaras intentions are as yet unclear in regards to Danzo and Sasuke. He more than likely wont let Sasuke croak, thoughit is possible he may let Sasuke nearly die to reinforce his own weakness.

What is it with Naruto villians and how they desire immortality/forbidden jutsus/bloodlines/etc.? Danzo's really taking it to the extreme here with the Shodai's DNA and all of the sharingans. Well, at least it might have explained why Orochimaru was experimenting with the Shodai's DNA and trying to create a clone.

I wonder if Danzo knows anything about the Juubi? Madara implies that Danzo may be after the Kyuubi, probably to use as a bargining chip or as an ultimate weapon against the other shinobi nations. It also makes me suspect that part of the reason why Danzo ordered the Uchiha massacre was to kill off anyone else who could potentially control the Kyuubi. He is obviously power-hungry and probably unwilling to give anyone the slightest chance of gaining an edge on him otherwise.

Though for both Danzo and Sasuke to be pulling out so many big tricks and jutsus, I think that this battle with take a huge toll on whomever comes out alive. Might make it easier for the Konoha-folks to defeat Danzo and/or Sasuke after they've beat the tar out of each other.

As I said in spoiler thread, I really don't feel interested about this chap of Sasuke and the great hax gang, was this really worth the waiting of THREE weeks... I'm tired, I'm bored and I'm a bit angsty today.

I really can't see Danzo dieing in the near future, it would put the development of last twenty or so chapters in a waste, especially ROOT discowering Narutos heritage. Also this fight may leave at most, Sasuke a lingering doubt about his ambiton, but I really wouldn't be suprised of it coming along near the end of the manga. Now he is just closing in at the peak of his darknes. Also I'm more and more inclined to my view of Sasukes redemption is going to happen in the end, just before his last breath.

Intriguing, Izanagi is a base mythos in Japanese and shinto mythology. It is Izanagi who births Amateratsu, Tsukiyomi, and Susanoo.

Also theres this interesting paralel from the Wiki entry

The story of Izanagi and Izanami has close parallels to the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.[citation needed] When Izanagi looks prematurely at his wife, he beholds her monstrous and hellish state and she is shamed and enraged. She pursues him in order to kill him. She fails to do so, but promises to kill a thousand of his people every day. Izanagi retorts that a thousand and five hundred will be born every day.

the notion of the holder of Izanagi protecting the people ((like Danzo protects Konoha)) and Izanami pursuing him to kill him e because of a perceived Shame but unable to do so, so Izanami turns on the people of Izanagi ((as Sasuke has turned on Konoha and focused his vengance on them))

I would actually say this is one fight that Sasuke somewhat deserves to win. Danzou is even worse than him when it comes to obtaining power in the wrong ways, and Sasuke's anger towards Danzou is understandable. Danzou, I think, is supposed to serve as a reminder that the ends do not justify the means. Him dieing at Sasuke's hands would make for a karmic death. But I like the idea of him succumbing to the messed up experiments done to his body, too. Kind of like how Orochimaru did.

I previously thought Danzou was going to die in this fight, too. But with the revelation that he's probably after Naruto/The Nine-Tails, I think he's going to survive and will continue to cause trouble for Konoha (while still claiming he's helping it). I think there's more to be done with him and Sai, as well. And maybe Kabuto.

At least Naruto is fun sometimes and seeing him grow is entertaining. Sasuke just pulls something new out of his ass. It seems like he is compensating for something.

Izanagi must be one hell of a Jutsu if it's considered forbidden even by the Uchiha. It must be a Jutsu that is far superior in many cases when compared to Tsukuyomi, Susanoo, and Amaterasu.

Yeah, I also agree about Danzo saying how Sasuke's Tsukuyomi was weak compared to Itachi's, since I've often thought he assumes Genjutsu is "weak" and not worth his time anymore, as is the same case most of the time with Taijutsu.

EDIT: Anybody else's BS detector go off on how hatred seems to make Sasuke stronger than he really is?? Though I personally see his strength as false considering that he only gained it because of that... and without even any real effort.

Seriously, is Masashi Kishimoto even trying anymore? Sasuke's newest powerup is basically just a Quincy bow, only instead of being awesome and requiring a lot of training and skill to use, it's cheap and ugly.

Also, Danzou has a face on his arm. RANDOM!

And why is Sasuke so willing to believe what Madara says? The guy isn't exactly trustworthy. I know he's supposed to be consumed by his hatred, but I didn't think losing 50 IQ points was a part of being hateful.
